Veeam to Share its Vision of the ‘Hyper-Available Enterprise’ at GITEX 2018

Veeam Software, the leader in Intelligent Data Management for the Hyper-Available Enterprise, will share its vision on how to address the current challenges of enterprises in the Middle East. Veeam will specifically address the hyper-criticality of data, hyper-growth of data, and hyper-sprawl of data during GITEX Technology Week, 14-18 October, 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

GITEX Trade show attendees have the opportunity to learn about the need for Hyper-Availability in a data-driven world, and why Veeam is the most trusted provider of Intelligent Data Management solutions to meet the demands of the Hyper-Available Enterprise. Veeam executives will demonstrate how customers around the world are leveraging the Veeam Hyper-Availability Platform for Intelligent Data Management to ensure business continuity, reduce risk, and accelerate innovation in an era where technologies ranging from IoT, AI, machine learning, and blockchain require a platform with massive scalability and ease of use for managing data.

“Hyper-Availability is the new expectation for data in today’s enterprises, which enables faster reaction times to any business need, multi-fold improvements in efficiencies, and greater agility to shifts in customer demand. Together, with its ecosystem of more than 55,000 technology partners, the Veeam Hyper-Availability Platform is the most complete solution to help customers make the transition to Intelligent Data Management,” says Gregg Petersen, Regional Sales Vice President, MEA at Veeam.

Availability has been traditionally associated with business continuity and backup and recovery, to make sure organizations stay up and running. With increasing challenges in managing enterprise data, Hyper-Availability requires that data must evolve from basic Backup and Recovery solutions which mechanically copy data at prescribed intervals, to a much higher level of intelligence where data learns to respond instantly and appropriately to what actually happens anywhere across the enterprise data infrastructure. Data protection and data management must move from reactive insurance policies to a system that provides proactive business value.

“Digital transformation is now a requisite for survival for all enterprises, across all industries. At GITEX we intend educating CIOs and IT managers about the need to re-think their IT strategies and service models and move away from legacy backup and recovery solutions as they virtualize their infrastructures and move to the cloud. Hyper-Availability solutions for the modern data centre is the way forward and is central to digital transformation,” says Claude Schuck, regional manager, Middle East and Central Africa at Veeam.

“Over the past seven years we have used GITEX as an opportunity to showcase our products and capabilities and to meet with both existing and prospective clients and partners. I can attribute much of our success to the relationships we have built and fostered at the event and I expect GITEX 2018 to be no different.”
