AMD has appointed Mario Silveira to corporate vice president of sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Silveira will report to Darren Grasby, AMD chief sales officer, and will lead the EMEA regional sales organization. His team will have responsibility for all AMD products and segments, spanning computing, graphics, datacenter and embedded markets.
Silveira joins from Logitech. He has 25 year of experience in Consumer Electronics, IT and Software Services sectors for companies including Samsung, HP and AMD. Silveira will be based in the AMD Munich office.
