Tally Solutions to Showcase TallyPrime at GITEX 2020

Vikas Panchal, the Business Head for the Middle East at Tally Solutions, speaks about his company’s plans for GITEX this year

Which products and solutions will you be showcasing at GITEX Technology Week?
This year GITEX will see the showcase of our new product – TallyPrime- the next generation of business management software. TallyPrime is our latest offering which will equip SMEs owners and new-age entrepreneurs with ultra-simple and powerful software to enhance their business productivity.

Focused on making the business owners’ lives simple, TallyPrime aims to further simplify business management by facilitating users to comfortably manage and grow their business without needing to know the finer nuances of accounting or technology. The product is meticulously designed keeping the user experience at the core, which enhances the legendry speed, simplicity, reliability, and flexibility of the product.

What are your expectations from the event this year?
GITEX is the first event in the UAE which will have a physical presence this year. We are thrilled to be participating in this event and are confident that event organisers have taken all necessary precautions, in line-with the government protocols to make this a safe and successful event. In addition, this year’s GITEX also marks the showcase of our new world-class product – TallyPrime, which will assist SMEs and new-age entrepreneurs through their digital transformation journey.

What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
Our theme this year is #MakeEveryDaySimple – by helping SMEs into their Digital Transformation Journey. With our new TallyPrime, businesses can adapt to the new normal and work towards growing their business by taking better control of the business. Several new features and experiences have been introduced in TallyPrime that will benefit the entrepreneurs along with accountants in their day to day work.

The product has been designed such that it is scalable for future feature rollouts and is supported by this interface without breaking the frame. This will allow customers to easily shift and adapt to future releases without any requirement to upskill or learn new techniques.

Do you plan to run any online engagements such as webinars in parallel to GITEX?
Yes – We are currently doing the same and would be doing so during GITEX as well. This will help businesses to also connect with us as per their convenience. We will also host several webinars to ensure current customers seamlessly migrate to TallyPrime. We have also scheduled multiple virtual migration camps along with our partners in the region to provide support.

How is your company weathering from the market effects on the pandemic?
This pandemic has not been easy for the business community, however, we are seeing positive momentum and life moving back to the new normal. We are optimistic that things will emerge better in the future and we are prepared to support these businesses with newer generation technologies and products.

What were the key learnings over the past couple of months and how do you plan to use those to make changes to your regional strategies?
The past few months have been instrumental in learnings. One key area of learning was – Adaption. We have seen everyone adapting to a new environment. Businesses have been fast to adapt to the new normal. Being a technology-driven company, we adapted quite early and started virtual engagements with our customers and partners at an early stage. We will continue to use a blended approach – as convenient to customers to provide the best solutions and services and continuously help them in their journey towards growth and excellence.
