Vikas Panchal, the Business Head for the Middle East at Tally Solutions, says that UAE has started seeing an increase in overall business activities
Are you participating in GITEX 2021? If yes, which products and solutions will you be showcasing at GITEX Technology Week?
Yes, we are participating at GITEX for the 8th consecutive year and will be showcasing the latest version of our new product TallyPrime. The latest version has further increased the power of TallyPrime reporting, allowing business owners to create and save personalised views to suit the unique requirements of their business. The solution also enables small and medium businesses in the region to make data-driven decisions to accelerate their business growth.
What are your expectations from the event this year?
Digitization and tech adoption has been a key focus area for businesses over the last few years and the ever-evolving business landscape due to the pandemic has further fuelled this transition. In the last year and a half, we have witnessed businesses adopt technology and automate their operation more than ever. We look forward to meeting such entrepreneurs and assist them in their journey towards automation.
Do you hope for a business relief from the event?
With all the efforts from the local government to ensure safety and boost the economy, UAE has started seeing an increase in overall business activities. In fact, the country has clearly emerged as one of the safest and most secure places for business setup and expansion given the current situation. Additionally, the much-awaited Expo2020 will also welcome visitors from across the world and we are expecting a big surge in consumer spending.
What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
At Tally, we have always believed in providing the best products and solutions to our customers to ensure they can run their business operations with utmost ease and flexibility. With that in mind, this year’s theme is ‘The best your business can get’ and we are confident that the entrepreneurs visiting GITEX will also resonate once they witness our product at the stand.
Do you plan to run any online engagements such as webinars alongside GITEX?
Yes, we are planning some interesting and engaging webinars and sessions, the plans for which are underway.
How have your regional strategies changed in recent months?
Our customers have always been our priority and we aligned our strategies to ensure a delightful experience for them. We ensured to reach out to all our customers, continuously engage with them and address their queries. Through several webinars and continuous connect, we also enable them to take complete advantage of automation and grow their business despite all the challenges of the pandemic. Furthermore, we have adopted a hybrid model of working to ensure the safety of our employees and customers and curb the virus spread. This also gives convenience and comfort to our customers to choose their preferred mode of engagement.
