GITEX Global 2022: Sennheiser to Showcase its Portfolio of Audio Solutions for Universities and Corporate Meeting Rooms

Mig Cardamone, the Regional Sales Director for Sennheiser Middle East, speaks about his company’s participation at GITEX Global 2022

Are you participating in GITEX Global 2022? If yes, which products and solutions will you be showcasing at the event?
Yes, we will be participating at GITEX this year. Sennheiser will showcase its Campus Wide Audio Solutions, among a wide range of solutions. Our campus-wide audio solutions are intuitive and easy to use for teachers, professors, IT personnel, and students alike and can help transform lecture spaces of all sizes into the digital classrooms of the future to make learning easier.

We will also showcase MobileConnect, our assistive and focused listening solution, along with SpeechLine Digital Wireless, and TeamConnect Ceiling 2 featuring TruVoicelift and camera tracking. Touchless audio and digital wireless technology are blended together to meet the new challenges we face and our latest innovations are perfect for IT and AV managers as well as business professionals. Our solutions are innovative and user-friendly, and truly make collaboration easier.

What are your expectations from the event this year?
We expect Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be a big buzzword on the show floor as more manufacturers find creative ways to bring this technology into the meeting environment. For instance, our newly launched TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker (TC ISP) will be showcased at GITEX, and it is one of the first intelligent solutions for this market, enabling users to start and optimize Microsoft Teams meetings by talking to Cortana via voice recognition, calendar syncing, and automatic transcription. Coming out of the pandemic, so many of us have more work than we know what to do with, so at Sennheiser, we are eager to find ways to enable hybrid and remote workers to work smarter, not harder with solutions like the TC ISP.

What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
Discover the future of education and meetings with Sennheiser. We are also bringing our big news to you at GITEX, the first look at the next generation of Evolution Wireless Digital Family of Microphones If you have a particular audio challenge within your company or educational institution, we invite you to join us for a coffee and conversation

How have your regional strategies changed in recent months?
Like many companies, the Sennheiser Group is confronted with challenges in supply chains as well as geopolitical developments. These include the limited availability of chips worldwide as well as the effects of Russia’s war of aggression on Ukraine. The regionalisation of supply chains has already begun, and this will also have an impact on our business. We are therefore continuously aligning ourselves with the ever-changing framework conditions and developing our business processes – especially our supply chain – accordingly.

Any other info you would like to add?
In the Business Communications business area, Sennheiser intends to “greatly expand” its portfolio of audio solutions for universities and corporate meeting rooms in the coming years. The goal is to ensure that Sennheiser products are present in the majority of the region’s lecture halls and meeting rooms and to offer customers solutions that are not only audibly better and easier to use but in particular address the challenges of hybrid working and learning.
