Epicor Announces Launch of Epicor Payroll MEA

Written by Monzer Tohme, regional vice president, Middle East & Africa, Epicor Software

At Epicor, ‘voice of the customer’ is central to our strategy. Every upgrade and every new module or solution we roll out is driven either by specific requests from customers or a market/industry need that we have identified in our conversations with customers.

Over the last couple of years, as I have visited customers across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, on several occasions, I have been told that Epicor ERP has helped them automate several processes, realize significant efficiencies across departments and has been vital to their organizations’ growth. I’ve also been asked many a time if Epicor could help them integrate and automate their payroll processes.

Having taken this onboard, I am pleased to announce the launch of Epicor Payroll MEA, a flexible and responsive payroll solution that has been custom built to meet the country-specific employment regulations and business needs of HR departments across the MEA region.

Built on the Epicor ERP platform, and recommended for any organization using Epicor ERP version 10 or above, Epicor Payroll MEA helps improve employee experience and job-satisfaction by providing employees (including HR) with a self-service portal where they can make requests—annual leave, a company loan or time off—and view all the information that the company has on file for them.

The solution also significantly reduces the administrative and legal burden on HR. It provides them with automated tools for managing requests from employees, employee contracts, salary revisions, attendance records, timesheets and payslips, all while making sure that the organizations’ internal processes are in line with the latest local employment regulations.

Santosh Patnaik, strategy manager at Bond Interiors, one of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) leading fit-out companies says, “Epicor Payroll MEA embedded with employee self-service has turned our payroll process into a simple and fast process. A positive experience which reduces effort on the paycheck process and enables us to focus more on human capital management.”
