NEXCOM’s strategic collaboration with Intel has positioned them as a leader in delivering advanced network technology. The FTA 5190 leverages the Intel Xeon 6 SoC’s capabilities, optimized for enterprise, networking, 5G, cloud, AI, and high-performance computing (HPC) applications.
The Intel Xeon 6 SoC, featuring up to 32 cores and 64 processing threads, significantly boosts AI acceleration and security optimization. Its scalable architecture allows for adaptability, with individual cores capable of functioning as dual virtual cores for lighter tasks, crucial for vRAN, SASE, and SD-WAN applications. The high-bandwidth memory and integrated 200G throughput facilitate advanced connectivity, including eight 25GbE LAN ports, reducing total cost of ownership.
The server is equipped with an AI acceleration engine and Intel QuickAssist Technology (Intel QAT), accelerating deep learning, cryptography, and data compression. Intel QAT enhances critical tasks such as crypto, data security, compression, media processing, and fused operations, freeing up capacity for other workloads.
The FTA 5190 boasts PCIe Gen4/5 NVMe storage for rapid data processing and extensive Ethernet capabilities, including eight 25GbE fiber ports, eight 1GbE copper ports, and a LAN module slot for up to 100GbE flexibility.
