Reporting from Taipei, Taiwan: At COMPUTEX 2025 in Taipei, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) unveiled an impressive lineup of professional-grade gaming peripherals designed to elevate competitive play. The showcase featured several innovative products developed in collaboration with top esports athletes, reinforcing ROG’s commitment to high-performance gaming hardware.
The centerpiece of the announcement was the ROG Harpe II Ace gaming mouse, co-developed with VALORANT Champion Max “Demon1” Mazanov. This ultra-lightweight 48-gram peripheral features a sustainable bio-nylon shell with a 70% reduced carbon footprint compared to conventional materials. Its competitive edge comes from the 42,000 DPI ROG AimPoint Pro sensor with glass tracking capability and groundbreaking 8,000Hz wireless polling through ROG SpeedNova technology. The ergonomic design has been optimized for both claw and fingertip grip styles based on direct pro player feedback.
Keyboard enthusiasts received the new ROG Falcata, a compact 75% form factor keyboard with a unique split design that maximizes desk space for mouse movement. It introduces hot-swappable ROG HFX V2 Magnetic Switches that allow for precise 0.01mm actuation tuning, combined with ultra-responsive 8,000Hz polling and versatile tri-mode connectivity options. The keyboard incorporates four-layer dampening technology to ensure quiet operation during intense gaming sessions.
For display technology, ROG pushed boundaries with the Strix Ace XG248 monitor, setting a new industry standard with its 610Hz refresh rate Super TN panel and lightning-fast 0.8ms response time. This combination delivers the smoothest possible visual experience for competitive gamers who demand every possible advantage.
The product lineup expanded to include two new gaming chairs – the feature-packed ROG Courser with its Dynamic Synchronized Reclining system and 4D adjustable lumbar support, and the sleek Moonlight White edition of the Destrier Core. Both chairs incorporate premium materials and ergonomic designs tailored for extended gaming sessions.
ROG also highlighted its sustainability initiatives, particularly in the development of the Harpe II Ace’s eco-friendly construction. The company introduced ROG Gear Link, a convenient browser-based configuration tool that eliminates the need for software downloads when adjusting peripheral settings.
Kris Huang, General Manager of ASUS Gaming & Workspace Gear, emphasized the company’s philosophy: “We believe esports excellence begins with equipment engineered to perform under the most demanding conditions. Our mission is to provide competitors with the tools they need to perform at their peak.”
The new products, developed in partnership with esports professionals including CS2 legend Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, are scheduled for release in Q3 2025. These additions to the ROG ecosystem demonstrate the brand’s continued innovation in gaming technology, combining professional-grade performance with thoughtful design improvements informed by top competitive players.
