UiPath has announced the appointment of Sara Al-Alsheikh as Regional Vice President (RVP) and Managing Director for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Her appointment comes amidst increasing demand for AI-powered automation in the Gulf region. Based in Riyadh, Al-Alsheikh will oversee UiPath’s market strategy and customer success in these countries. She will also serve as Managing Director for the company’s regional hub in Riyadh. Al-Alsheikh will focus on expanding growth in key sectors such as government, banking, and oil and gas. Her role will also involve strengthening UiPath’s partner network and driving successful large-scale digital transformation projects for customers.
Sara Al-Alsheikh, Regional Vice President and Managing Director for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain at UiPath, stated, “I am excited to take on this leadership role at a time when Saudi Arabia is accelerating its digital transformation roadmap and making AI a core part of its strategy. UiPath has also recently released its updated platform, making it the first enterprise-grade platform for agentic automation.” She added, “My goal is to help our clients redefine how work is done – making it faster, smarter, and more autonomous – with UiPath central to their innovation.”
The Gulf region is experiencing rapid digital transformation, with organizations increasingly adopting advanced automation to boost efficiency and competitiveness. UiPath supports this trend by enabling local businesses and governments to deploy complex AI-powered automation solutions that integrate AI agents, software robots, and human collaboration.
Al-Alsheikh’s appointment aligns with this growth. Her leadership is expected to help UiPath further support the Gulf’s Vision 2030 objectives by fostering innovation and sustainable growth across key sectors, while also promoting gender inclusion.
Her appointment highlights Saudi Arabia’s focus on empowering women in leadership roles as part of Vision 2030. With over ten years of experience at global technology companies including HP, IBM, and SAP, Al-Alsheikh represents a new generation of Saudi leaders driving innovation, inclusion, and sustainable growth in the region’s technology sector.
Zakaria Haltout, Area Vice President Middle East and Africa at UiPath, commented, “Sara’s leadership is a valuable asset for UiPath and demonstrates what can be achieved when talent, vision, and inclusion come together.
