Exabeam Enhances AI Platform with Strategic Planning Tool for Security Leaders

Exabeam has announced an expansion of its integrated multi-agent AI system, Exabeam Nova. The update introduces the Exabeam Nova Advisor Agent, designed to provide security leaders with a real-time strategic planning engine and a tool for communicating with executive boards. The new Advisor Agent aims to address the challenge of translating complex security metrics into business-relevant terms, which can hinder efforts to demonstrate risk reduction, justify security investments, and show measurable progress.

The expanded Exabeam Nova platform now offers capabilities for security leaders, including:

  1. Strategic Plan Generation: Automatic creation of data-backed roadmaps using daily security posture assessments, MITRE ATT&CK coverage, and organizational security data.
  2. Executive and Board Communication: Generation of summaries that reframe technical metrics into business outcomes to aid leadership in understanding progress, supporting investment decisions, and evaluating return on investment.
  3. Gap Identification and Prioritization: Detection of issues such as missing log sources, misconfigurations, and ineffective threat detection content that may weaken security posture.
  4. What-If Analysis: Simulation of adjustments or additions to security tooling and detection capabilities to assess how proposed actions might close gaps and improve security posture.
  5. Maturity Tracking and Improvement: Daily benchmarking of security posture, monitoring of measurable improvements, and alignment of security operations with long-term organizational goals.

Steve Wilson, Chief AI and Product Officer at Exabeam, commented on the development, stating, “AI in cybersecurity has been mostly about analyzing and responding to alerts, but that’s not enough anymore. Exabeam Nova has expanded to become something larger. It’s the first and only AI system that includes an agent built for the CISO. Exabeam Nova doesn’t just tell security leaders where they stand, it diagnoses where they’re at-risk, maps a plan to improve, and arms leaders with the facts to explain decisions to their executive team and board.”

Chris O’Malley, CEO of Exabeam, added, “We’re more focused than ever on delivering intelligent, outcomes-driven security solutions that scale with today’s threats, and anticipate tomorrow’s. Security teams are woefully underfunded and asked to do more with less, yet threats continue to multiply. Exabeam Nova is creating a historic shift in how SOCs operate — moving from reactive alert chasing to strategic process optimization. What we’re hearing from customers is clear: they trust Exabeam Nova. It’s accurate, reliable, and delivers the real, measurable outcomes they’ve been waiting for.”

With the integration of the Exabeam Nova Advisor Agent, the platform now features six agents designed to automate decisions, streamline investigations, and provide continuous benchmarking of program effectiveness with recommendations for improvement. Exabeam Nova is integrated into the foundation of the New-Scale Security Operations Platform, supporting the complete threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) workflow. The company states that Exabeam Nova was developed as a coordinated system of agents, each aligned to a specific SOC function.
