Huawei Cloud Empowers Partners and Drives Digital Industry Growth

At GITEX Global 2025, Huawei Cloud hosted a partner forum titled “Empowering Huawei Cloud Partners for a Thriving Ecosystem”. The event explored how the holistic ecosystem delivers value to customers while showcasing Huawei Cloud as a trusted partner.

In his opening speech of the event, Aka Dai, Director of Huawei Cloud Marketing, shared key regional achievements. Huawei Cloud now boasts over 400 local partners across the Middle East and Central Asia region, spanning 10 industries—including more than 30 Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners. Jointly with over 150 local partners, the company has rolled out over 100 tailored solutions in the region.

He emphasized that Huawei Cloud will remain committed to its “Partner First” strategy, providing a stable and reliable cloud foundation for local customers and partners, expanding markets together, and achieving shared success. Aka added that Huawei Cloud is deeply integrated into the Middle East and Central Asia ecosystem, with a dedicated focus on empowering the next generation of developers and partners. This effort is designed to drive the region’s intelligent transformation and fuel high-quality local digital development.

Huawei Cloud continues to solidify its position as a trusted cloud partner. It advances strategic initiatives to underpin its technology offerings, while evolving dynamically to meet the ever-changing needs of partners and customers.

Barry Xu, Director of Partner Development of Huawei Cloud Middle East & Central Asia, highlighted the company’s strategies to deepen collaboration with partners. He elaborated that Huawei Cloud provides end-to-end support for partners, including consistent policy guidance, systematic capacity building, joint marketing initiatives, co-hosted workshops, and round-the-clock (24/7) service support. These measures are designing to help partners achieve sustainable growth and enhance profitability.

Ryan Pang, Director of Ecosystem, Huawei Cloud Middle East & Central Asia, shared that Huawei Cloud connect both global and local partners to drive the digital future. During the event, he announced two key incentive programs:

  • The Migration All Incentive Program: Reward service partners at each phase of a cloud migration project.
  • The SAP Special Incentives: Reward cloud solution partners who already hold SAP certification.

During the event, partners from various industries shared how their collaboration with Huawei Cloud delivers value to both themselves and their customers.

Renaud de Gonfreville, the Co-founder & CEO of ZIWO, talked about the partnership between ZIWO and Huawei Cloud in enhancing customer experience across the MENA region. He highlighted that ZIWO offers AI-powered contact center software that transforms customer interactions. As a leading cloud contact center solution in the MENA region, it provides intelligent voicebots for 24/7 support, omnichannel conversation capabilities, and automated call summaries to boost agent efficiency. Notably, these solutions are all built on Huawei Cloud’s infrastructure. This ensures a scalable, secure, and high-performance operating environment, which is critical to meeting the demands of the e-commerce sector.

David Wang, Vice President of International Business at Rong Cloud, discussed how AI-driven next-gen communication platforms are accelerating cross-industry digital transformation. He shared that Rong Cloud, in collaboration with Huawei Cloud, offers an AI-powered next-gen communication platform. This platform enables instant messaging (IM), real-time communication (RTC), enterprise collaboration tools, and AI services, which works to drive secure, sovereign and cross-industry digital transformation.

Masood Sheik, Practice Head of AI, Cloud & Enterprise Solutions at Hiperdist Gulf, shared his insights on how AI and cloud technologies unlock customer value and enhance profitability. He also highlighted the company’s commitment to driving the growth and adoption of Huawei Cloud across the MEA region. Their efforts aim to empower customers and channel partners to embrace the region’s digital and AI strategy, foster innovation, deliver genuine partnership value, ensure compliance with local regulations, and create lasting value.

To empower a thriving cloud ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, Mosayyab Hassan Quhal, CEO of Mina Excellence, shared how his company partners with Huawei Cloud to help organizations operate more efficiently and scale rapidly. He also announced that through innovation, strategic alliances, and localized development, Mina Excellence will launch the “Mina Factory” to further drive technological advancement and sustainable innovation, and deliver greater value to customers.

The key award categories and criteria are as follows:

On the sidelines of GITEX Global 2025, Huawei Cloud also hosted a Digital Industry Forum themed “Accelerating Innovations in Digital Industry”. The forum brought together customers and partners from sectors including media, e-commerce, retail, and fintech. During the forum, Huawei Cloud announced the launched of the Middle East & Central Asia Digital Industry Growth Alliance. This alliance aims to build a collaborative platform for resource sharing, technology interoperability, and business coordination, to address the region’s development challenges and inject strong, sustainable new momentum into the high-quality growth of the digital industry.
