AVEVA Focuses on Industrial Intelligence to Drive Sustainable, Smarter Operations in 2026

As industries accelerate their transition toward low-carbon, data-driven operations, AVEVA is doubling down on Industrial Intelligence as its core strategy for 2026. Sébastien Ory, EMEA VP Partners & Channels at AVEVA, says the company’s CONNECT platform will play a central role in unifying data, digital twins, AI-driven analytics and human expertise to help industrial organisations move faster, operate more efficiently and adapt in real time to increasing volatility.

What opportunities do you foresee for 2026, and how do you plan to leverage them?
Navigating the complexities of intelligent, low-carbon industrial operations will remain a priority for most of our customers. In 2026, we will keep our focus on helping them be more sustainable, move faster, operate smarter and adapt in real time in the face of volatility. The features of our digital platform CONNECT will bring Industrial Intelligence to the next level, making easier the dynamic integration of data-driven insights that are enhanced with industrial AI and human expertise.

What major challenges did you encounter this year, and how did you address them?
With the speed of technological evolution in constant acceleration, new technologies like AI come with new threats and opportunities. AVEVA provides channel partners with upskilling sessions designed to provide use cases and success stories that demonstrate the value of our AI-infused software. This is how we support channel partners in their mission to identify relevant AI capabilities to guide in the best possible way customers who adopt new digital technologies.

Can you elaborate on your strategic partnerships this year and plans for next year?
AVEVA leverages the quadruple dimension of its channel and partner ecosystem’s capabilities: industrial expertise, knowledge of customers’ needs, knowledge of digital solutions that can be integrated with AVEVA’s software to bring more added value to customers, and the capacity to unravel the complexity of “patchwork data infrastructure”. We will continue to work closely with partners for them to develop on CONNECT advanced & fit-to-purpose solutions, as our platform is also a marketplace from which they can leverage ready-to-consume data.

What will be your primary focus areas and strategic priorities for 2026?
At AVEVA, the dynamic integration of data-driven insights enhanced with industrial AI and human expertise is what we call “Industrial Intelligence”. Growing Industrial Intelligence to help industry become more sustainable, move faster, operate smarter and adapt in real time in the face of volatility will remain AVEVA’s primary area of focus. Unifying data, digital twins, and AI-driven analytics with human expertise for operators to act faster, anticipate disruptions, and streamline the performance of industrial assets is how we plan to continue to support our customers in 2026.

Are there plans to explore new markets or introduce new products/applications in 2026?
In 2026, we will continue to support AI adoption in the industry. Generative AI will for instance enable automated content creation to deliver faster results. In terms of product evolution, InTouch, the world’s most trusted SCADA and HMI platform, will be updated. The 2026 version will include advanced tools for managing, analysing, organising, and acting on industrial data as well as enhanced ease of use. In one feature, integrators and end-users will be able to create custom data processing routines.

How is your company approaching sustainability, digital transformation, or AI adoption in preparation for 2026?
CONNECT, our open neutral cloud-based and AI-infused digital platform spans the entire industrial lifecycle in real time, and offers native data services, visualization services, modelling and analytics capabilities, application development services, as well as service and usage management. It brings together data, the digital twin technology, industrial artificial intelligence, and deep domain expertise.

By combining remote assets, applications from AVEVA and 3rd-party data sources into one single, secure platform, CONNECT enables industrial enterprises to make the most out of their technology investment as it drives enhanced efficiency, productivity, and sustainability for companies and their ecosystem.
