Milestone Systems Showcases AI-Driven Safety Innovation at Intersec Dubai 2026

As the UAE continues to position itself as a regional centre for artificial intelligence development, Milestone Systems is expanding its presence and product portfolio in the Middle East, with a focus on AI-driven safety technologies. The company will present its latest developments at Intersec Dubai 2026.

Milestone Systems has reported continued growth across the MENA region and is starting 2026 by introducing new AI-based capabilities and strengthening its regional operations. The company recently launched its next-generation Vision Language Model (VLM) in versions designed for the European Union and the United States. Alongside this, Milestone introduced two new solutions built on the VLM platform: XProtect Video Summarization and VLM-as-a-Service.

The UAE’s increasing focus on scalable and secure AI adoption has accelerated the use of AI-enabled safety systems across sectors such as smart cities, transportation, critical infrastructure, and industrial environments. This trend aligns with Milestone’s open-platform approach, which is designed to integrate with third-party AI and IoT systems.

Louise Bou Rached, Director – Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Milestone Systems, said, “Video can deliver even greater value when it goes beyond traditional security – transforming data into actionable insights that drive smarter decisions and tangible business outcomes. With Milestone’s open platform and new, advanced AI-powered capabilities, customers gain more than just surveillance. As the UAE and wider Gulf embrace AI to enhance safety, efficiency, and resilience, our open-platform VMS empowers public and private organizations to convert video data into actionable intelligence that supports operational excellence and informed decision-making.”

At Intersec Dubai 2026, Milestone will demonstrate its data-driven security and safety solutions, with an emphasis on cyber resilience and outcome-focused use cases. These include the integration of AI-driven video analytics, access control systems, and sensor data to support proactive decision-making, as well as the convergence of operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems.

The company will also highlight its approach to securing edge devices, controllers, and video management systems through encryption, system hardening guidelines, and regular software updates. Milestone’s portfolio, including XProtect VMS, BriefCam analytics, and the Arcules cloud platform, is used to support applications such as traffic monitoring, crowd management, and asset optimization. Its open-platform architecture is designed to ensure interoperability and long-term deployment flexibility.

Milestone Systems will be exhibiting at booth S1-H24 at Intersec Dubai 2026.
