The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), one of the organizers of COMPUTEX, has announced that Cristiano R. Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm Incorporated, will deliver the opening keynote at COMPUTEX 2026.
The keynote is scheduled for the afternoon of June 1 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 2, 7F, marking the official start of one of the world’s largest technology exhibitions.
Qualcomm Technologies is positioning itself at the forefront of next-generation computing, with a focus on enabling intelligence across devices, edge systems, and data centers. Under Amon’s leadership, the company has advanced a unified approach that integrates on-device AI, edge-to-cloud performance, and next-generation connectivity to support the growing scale of agentic AI workloads.
Its flagship platforms, including Snapdragon and Qualcomm Dragonwing, are driving innovation across a wide spectrum of applications, from AI-powered PCs and smartphones to industrial AI, robotics, and data centers. These technologies aim to enable real-time decision-making, autonomy, and contextual awareness across both consumer and enterprise environments.
Registration for the COMPUTEX keynote is expected to open in mid-April, according to the organizers.
COMPUTEX 2026, themed “AI Together,” will run from June 2 to June 5 across Hall 1 and Hall 2 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, as well as additional venues including TWTC and TICC. The event is expected to feature around 1,500 exhibitors occupying up to 6,000 booths, with a focus on three key areas: AI and computing, robotics and mobility, and next-generation technologies.
