Orange Jordan Expands Workplace Safety Culture with Nationwide Training Initiative

Orange Jordan has reinforced its commitment to employee wellbeing by rolling out a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training programme, aimed at strengthening safe work practices across its operations.

Organised by the company’s Human Resources Unit in collaboration with the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Department, the initiative brought together around 180 participants from across the Kingdom. Attendees included technicians, engineers, supervisors, and support staff, who took part in a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on practical sessions.

The programme covered a wide range of critical safety topics, including working at heights, traffic safety awareness, fire protection systems, and HSE risk assessment and control measures. The sessions were designed to equip employees with the knowledge and tools needed to identify workplace hazards, mitigate risks, and respond effectively to emergencies.

Orange Jordan said the initiative forms part of its broader strategy to embed a strong safety culture within the organisation, aligning with international best practices and reinforcing its commitment to maintaining a secure and healthy working environment for all employees.

The company also highlighted that the programme reflects its proactive approach to employee welfare and compliance with national regulations, including Jordanian Labour Law. As part of its ongoing efforts, Orange Jordan renewed its ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems in 2025 for the third consecutive year, continuing a track record of compliance and operational excellence established since 2019.

Through initiatives like this, Orange Jordan aims to further enhance workforce safety, minimise operational risks, and ensure long-term sustainability across its business operations.
