Reporting from Taipei, Taiwan: MSI has introduced a new lineup of gaming and AI-focused devices at Computex 2026, led by the Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld and a series of limited-edition laptops marking the company’s 40th anniversary.
The announcements highlight MSI’s continued expansion of its AI PC portfolio, combining the latest processor technologies with a focus on performance, portability, and design across gaming, content creation, and productivity.
At the center of the launch is the Claw 8 EX AI+, described as the world’s first gaming handheld powered by Intel Arc G3 Extreme processors, built on Intel’s latest Xe graphics architecture. The device is designed to deliver high-performance AAA gaming in a portable form while maintaining strong power efficiency for extended sessions.
The handheld features an 8-inch 120Hz variable refresh rate display for smooth, tear-free visuals, along with redesigned ergonomic grips for improved comfort during prolonged gameplay. MSI has equipped the system with Hall-effect triggers and analog sticks, refined bumpers, and a responsive D-pad to enhance precision and durability.
A new high-end linear motor provides faster, more refined haptic feedback capable of simulating tactile textures, while software features include support for XeSS 3 and Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) to boost frame rates and responsiveness. The system also introduces an intuitive Xbox Mode for quick game access and seamless resume, along with redesigned Quick Settings for adjusting frame generation and performance parameters. The device is finished in a “Void Purple” colorway, emphasizing its premium positioning.
Alongside the handheld, MSI introduced the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic, a 40th-anniversary flagship laptop positioned as a desktop-replacement gaming system. Powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB of GDDR7 memory, the 18-inch system is designed for high-end gaming, creative workloads, and professional use.
The laptop features a 4K 240Hz Mini LED display, a mechanical per-key RGB keyboard, a haptic RGB touchpad, and an advanced vapor chamber cooling system to sustain peak performance. Its design draws inspiration from the Draco constellation, incorporating precision metal etching and anodized finishes that embed color into the chassis for durability and dynamic light effects.
MSI is bundling the device with a collector’s package that includes a gaming mouse, mouse pad, and commemorative coin, reinforcing its limited-edition status.
The company also expanded its Artisan Collection with the Prestige 14 Flip AI+ Vincent van Gogh Edition, a convertible laptop inspired by The Starry Night and Starry Night Over the Rhône. The design blends artistic elements of light and shadow with modern materials, translating classic artwork into a contemporary device aesthetic.
Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the 14-inch system is designed for portability and productivity, offering strong performance and all-day battery life for creators and professionals.
Additional announcements included the new Katana Series, which features a refreshed design and performance-focused architecture for mainstream gamers, and the Venture Series, aimed at everyday computing. The Venture lineup integrates Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and a robust cooling system to ensure stable performance across productivity, entertainment, and light creative workloads.
With the new lineup, MSI said it is continuing to expand its AI PC ecosystem, integrating advanced partner technologies with system-level optimization to deliver faster, more efficient, and adaptable computing experiences.
