Acer Unveils New AI Tablets and Smart Glasses for Mobile Productivity
Acer has expanded its mobile device portfolio with the launch of three new Android tablets and two wearable smart glasses, combining AI-powered productivity, immersive augmented reality (AR) and enhanced mobile experiences for professionals, creators and everyday users.
The new lineup includes the Acer Iconia Duo S14, Iconia Duo S12 and Iconia Duo D12 tablets, alongside the Acer AR Vision GR0 augmented reality glasses and Acer GI0 AI smart glasses. Together, the devices are designed to support productivity, creativity and entertainment while on the move.
Leading the range is the Iconia Duo S14, a premium 14.2-inch tablet featuring a 2.8K OLED display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor and Android 16. Designed for creative professionals, the tablet supports AI-powered workflows, multitasking and high-performance applications, while offering DisplayPort connectivity, dual USB-C ports, Wi-Fi 6E, quad speakers and a fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Iconia Duo S12 delivers a similar premium experience in a more compact 12.2-inch form factor. Equipped with a 2.8K OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and Android 16, the device is aimed at digital artists, business users and engineers. It also features nano-texture glass with anti-glare and anti-fingerprint coatings for improved viewing in different environments.
Completing the tablet range, the Iconia Duo D12 offers a more affordable option while retaining the productivity-focused 3:2 display. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, the tablet features a 12.2-inch 2400 x 1600 display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, USB-C connectivity and expandable storage via microSD.
All three tablets provide up to 10 hours of battery life and support optional accessories including an Active Stylus, magnetic kickstand and detachable keyboard, allowing users to transform the devices into portable workstations.
Acer also introduced two wearable devices designed to extend mobile computing beyond the traditional display.
The Acer AR Vision GR0 connects to smartphones, laptops and other compatible devices to deliver immersive augmented reality experiences through dual Full HD micro OLED displays. Offering a virtual viewing experience equivalent to a 172-inch display viewed from six metres away, the lightweight 69-gram glasses support both 2D and 3D content and are compatible with Android, iOS and Windows devices.
Meanwhile, the Acer GI0 AI smart glasses integrate Google’s Gemini AI assistant to provide hands-free voice interaction, real-time image recognition and instant language translation. The glasses also include a built-in camera for capturing photos and videos, voice recording capabilities and wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, working alongside the Acer AspireSync companion app on Android and iOS devices.
With the new devices, Acer is strengthening its portfolio of AI-enabled mobile computing solutions, targeting users seeking greater flexibility, immersive experiences and intelligent productivity tools across work, learning and entertainment.
