Meta Launches Meta One as AI and Business Tools Move Further Into Subscriptions

Meta has launched Meta One, a new subscription service designed to give consumers, creators and businesses expanded access to AI capabilities and additional tools across its family of applications. The company says the launch includes more than 50 features across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI, with further integration planned for Edits, AI glasses and other products.

Meta One does not replace the free versions of its services. The company says the core experience across its apps and Meta AI will remain free, while subscribers receive higher usage limits and access to more specialised capabilities.
The individual plans build on existing subscriptions such as Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus, adding bundled options that combine these features with increased access to Meta’s more compute-intensive AI capabilities.
Subscribers to Meta One Core and Premium can generate more images and videos through Meta AI, as well as access AI-powered creative tools such as Instagram Restyle and voice effects.

Expanding the creator and business proposition
Meta is also positioning the service as a professional platform for creators and businesses. Creator and business plans introduce features designed to help organisations establish their presence, engage audiences and manage customer interactions directly through Meta’s applications.
These include enhanced profiles, prominent follow buttons on Reels and automated follow invitations for people who engage with content. Businesses will also receive increased access to Meta Business Agent for customer conversations.

Meta says it plans to expand the number of AI agent capabilities available to creators and small businesses, covering areas including marketing, business operations, content creation and optimisation.
The company also plans to bring Edits Plus into Meta One, providing additional cloud storage and access to an upcoming Edits assistant designed to analyse Instagram insights and help users develop new content ideas.
Subscription tiers
Meta One plans are now rolling out globally, although pricing, features and availability vary by market, application and account.

In the UAE, individual single-product plans start at AED 5.99 per month, while bundled individual plans begin at AED 22.99 per month. Creator and business subscriptions start at AED 46.99 per month.
The individual Core plan costs AED 22.99 per month, while Premium is priced at AED 76.99.

For businesses and creators, Advanced starts at AED 119 per month, Expert at AED 359 and Max at AED 1,199.
Meta’s move comes as the company continues to expand AI across its social platforms, creating a growing demand for computing resources while also looking for ways to monetise advanced AI capabilities.

The introduction of multiple subscription tiers gives Meta a way to keep its mass-market services free while offering organisations and high-volume AI users a paid route to greater capacity and more advanced tools.
