Qlik Achieves AWS Data Competency, Advancing Open and End-to-End Data Innovation

Qlik has achieved the AWS Data Competency in the Relational Database category, recognising its technical expertise and demonstrated customer success in delivering data solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The recognition highlights Qlik’s ability to help organisations build unified data environments that support modern analytics and AI workloads, while maintaining flexibility across cloud platforms, technologies and existing enterprise systems.
Qlik’s open, platform-agnostic approach is designed to help organisations work with the technologies and data environments that best suit their requirements. Its capabilities span data integration, transformation, quality, governance, analytics and AI, helping organisations move from fragmented data environments towards trusted, analytics-ready information.
As part of its AWS Data Competency, Qlik provides relational database engines, migration and performance tooling, and business applications built on Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) and AWS Aurora. The company supports data movement from a range of source database environments, including AWS RDS for Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MariaDB, as well as Amazon Aurora MySQL and PostgreSQL. Its capabilities also extend to enterprise platforms including SAP HANA, SAP Sybase ASE and IBM Db2.
Qlik’s approach enables organisations to move data beyond traditional relational database structures and into their preferred AWS environments, while modernising their data estates for analytics and AI. Through its broader data portfolio, including Qlik Talend Cloud, the company supports data integration, transformation, quality and governance across cloud and on-premises environments.
“Qlik gives us the flexibility to work across our data environment while modernising for AWS,” said Sebastián Espinosa Jensen, Business Intelligence & Corporate Advanced Analytics Manager, Empresas SB. “Its capabilities on AWS help us build a more trusted and connected data foundation that supports our analytics and evolving AI needs.”
The AWS Data Competency is part of the AWS Partner Network, recognising partners with demonstrated technical expertise and customer success in specific AWS solution areas. For Qlik, the recognition reflects its work helping organisations address the complexities of enterprise data while developing foundations for analytics and AI.
“Data strategies cannot be built around a single platform or a single destination,” said Matt Hayes, General Manager, Data Business Unit, Qlik. “Our customers need the freedom to work across the technologies they already depend on while modernising their data foundations for analytics and AI. Achieving the AWS Data Competency reflects the depth of our data capabilities and our commitment to giving organisations a more open, flexible path from complex data environments to trusted business outcomes.”
