Dell Technologies Forum UAE to Focus on Enterprise AI, Infrastructure Modernisation and Cyber Resilience

Dell Technologies will host its 2026 UAE Forum in Dubai on 15 October, bringing together business and technology leaders to discuss enterprise AI adoption, infrastructure modernisation and digital resilience.

The event will feature presentations from Dell Technologies executives and specialists, live demonstrations and discussions on how organisations can prepare their technology environments for increasingly demanding AI and data workloads. Key areas include modern infrastructure, intelligent devices, data-ready architectures and the skills required to deploy AI at scale.

The forum comes as businesses in the UAE move beyond initial AI experiments towards broader deployment. According to IDC, AI spending in the UAE is forecast to reach US$5.78 billion by 2029, reflecting growing investment in AI infrastructure, platforms and applications.

As organisations seek to improve productivity, modernise operations and strengthen resilience, the challenge is increasingly about integrating AI into existing business environments while managing security, governance and infrastructure requirements.

Key themes: From AI deployment to trusted infrastructure
Discussions at the forum are expected to cover several areas shaping enterprise technology strategies in the UAE.

  • Scaling enterprise AI: Organisations need infrastructure, data management and governance frameworks that enable AI applications to operate securely and effectively across business functions.
  • Modernising infrastructure: Businesses are evaluating faster, more resilient and easier-to-manage technology platforms to support AI, analytics and data-intensive workloads while keeping investment aligned with business objectives.
  • Sovereign AI and data control: Data residency, privacy, governance and regulatory compliance are becoming important considerations as organisations determine where data is stored, how AI systems are deployed and who controls the underlying infrastructure.
  • AI-ready workplaces: AI PCs, intelligent devices and modern endpoints are expected to play a role in workplace productivity, collaboration and endpoint security as businesses integrate AI into everyday tasks.
  • Cyber resilience: Data protection, recovery capabilities and security controls are increasingly being treated as integral parts of infrastructure and AI deployments rather than separate considerations.

Walid Yehia, managing director for South Gulf at Dell Technologies, said organisations in the UAE were moving from exploring AI possibilities to preparing the infrastructure, data, devices, security and governance needed to support deployment at scale. He added that the forum would address how businesses could simplify modernisation, manage emerging requirements around sovereign AI and cyber resilience, and build technology environments capable of supporting long-term business objectives.
