Extreme Networks Debuts AI-Driven Networking Platform

Extreme Networks has introduced groundbreaking AI capabilities within Extreme Platform ONE, now in limited availability, marking the industry’s first unified enterprise networking platform integrating conversational, multimodal, and agentic AI. The platform eliminates silos between networking and security, automates tasks through AI agents, and simplifies licensing—reducing manual work from hours to minutes and minutes to seconds. Earlier this year, Extreme expanded access to E-Rate customers and announced general availability for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

“Extreme Platform ONE is transformative, saving customers hours, streamlining operations, and delivering insights that allow teams to act faster. And with 130-plus customers already on the platform, we’re encouraged by the positive feedback and energized by the real-world results they’re seeing as they unlock new levels of visibility, control, and efficiency across their networks,” said Ed Meyercord, President and CEO of Extreme Networks.

Extreme Platform ONE delivers AI-driven automation that reduces manual tasks by 90%, integrating conversational, multimodal, and agentic AI that goes beyond traditional AIOps. It provides instant access to trusted knowledge—including product documentation, 30,000+ Global Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) articles, and security advisories—while its AI Canvas generates real-time dashboards and visual reports in minutes.

The platform’s agentic AI slashes resolution times by 98%: the Service AI Agent automates diagnostics, troubleshoots issues in seconds, and auto-generates support cases when escalation is needed. Simplified workflows cut clicks by 87% through an industry-first role-based workspace that eliminates app-switching.

Unmatched visibility offers a single-pane view across physical, access, fabric, and service layers, with geo maps and topology overlays removing blind spots. AI-powered Zero Trust security enables one-click policy recommendations and unified identity enforcement, while the industry’s simplest licensing model provides all-in-one asset visibility, AI-driven renewals, and tailored hardware recommendations.

“Extreme Platform ONE makes the impossible, possible. There is no other architecture and management combination in the industry that gives you that much information about your end-to-end enterprise in real time. And as the first in our industry to fully unify conversational, multimodal, and agentic AI, we’re delivering intelligence and automation at every layer of the network—reducing complexity at every turn and taking tasks from hours to minutes to an instant,” said Nabil Bukhari, Chief Product and Technology Officer, Extreme Networks.

Extreme Platform ONE is now in limited availability, with general availability planned for Q3 2025.
