HCLSoftware Launches XDO Framework in Dubai

HCLSoftware, the enterprise software division of HCLTech, recently held its Executive Summit at Madinat Jumeirah. The event brought together C-suite leaders and technologists, showcasing how the company’s partnership with Scuderia Ferrari and its new Experience (X) Data (D) Operations (O) (XDO) framework are designed to speed up digital transformation across the Middle East.
Kalyan Kumar, CPO, HCLSoftware, led the introduction of the XDO framework. He demonstrated how XDO combines human-centered experience design, unified data intelligence, and AI-driven operations into a self-managing growth engine for businesses.
A key highlight of the summit was a case study from Ferrari’s Digital Platforms team. They detailed how HCL AppScan provides a complete approach to application testing from a single platform, directly supporting the team’s Digital+ initiative. In the demanding environment of racing, where performance and reliability are crucial, HCL AppScan offers end-to-end testing, removing the need for multiple tools. It delivers automated testing with unified visibility through a centralized dashboard, giving the team full transparency and control over their complex and evolving applications.
Attendees also heard a compelling keynote from Deloitte on Generative AI mindsets and participated in a customer panel featuring banking and retail brands from the UAE. There were also quick sessions on AI-driven IT operations and outcome-based service models.
Shakeel Sawar, Partner – Advertising, Marketing & Commerce at Deloitte Middle East, led a high-energy session based on Deloitte Digital’s new research report, “Mindset Matters | Four Keys to Creating GenAI Experiences.” Drawing on findings that categorize consumers into Optimists, Maybes, Unawares, and Avoidants, Sawar explained how transparency, consistency, user control, and delight can turn Generative AI pilot projects into profitable experiences. Attendees received a practical checklist that aligns with HCLSoftware’s XDO blueprint, aiming to ensure future AI-powered initiatives remain human-centric while providing the speed and data intelligence that organizations in the Gulf region need.
Kumar emphasized HCLSoftware’s commitment to the “We the UAE 2031” vision, pledging to develop local talent and strengthen partner ecosystems as businesses in the Gulf shift from cost-focused IT to outcome-oriented Digital+ services.
With a new Dubai hub set to open this quarter, HCLSoftware will expand its product offerings, including its Unica+ MarTech platform, Actian Data Intelligence Platform, and BigFix secure automation, to organizations looking to balance scale with speed. The event saw strong participation from leading global system integrators like Deloitte, as well as key business partners from across the region. The launch concluded with the first HCL Software Awards and a raffle, where one guest won a trip to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
