Cohesity Expands Aspire Global Partner Programme with New Specialisations

Cohesity has announced updates to its Aspire Global Partner Programme, expanding incentives for partners that collaborate on customer opportunities, introducing new specialisations and simplifying training requirements across selected regions and tiers.
The changes took effect on 1 August, coinciding with Cohesity’s new fiscal year. The updated programme is designed to make Aspire easier to navigate while aligning more closely with how partners are developing services-led, recurring-revenue businesses. The changes also reflect the channel’s growing focus on security services, customer outcomes and recurring revenue models.
Cohesity said the latest updates were developed based on direct feedback from partners on how they sell, deliver and support data security outcomes.
Commenting on the programme, Hassan Aoun, Senior Channel Director, International Emerging Region at Cohesity, said, “Partners told us they need a program that recognizes the full value they bring to customers, from identifying opportunities through to delivering and scaling services. That is exactly what we have built into the latest Aspire updates. By simplifying the program, expanding incentives and introducing new specializations, we are giving partners clearer opportunities to differentiate, grow their services practices and deliver stronger security outcomes for customers.”
Under the updated incentives structure, opportunity rebates now cover teamed deals alongside partner-sourced opportunities. Rewards for new and expansion business also remain available through a simplified deal registration process. Sales representative SPIF requirements no longer require training completion as a prerequisite, making it easier for partners to qualify and earn incentives.
Growth performance rebates are also moving to simpler annualised tools with predictable payout levels. Renewal incumbency rules provide partners with a clear and consistent pricing advantage when renewing customers on time. Cohesity is also increasing partner rebates for data security and data insights solutions.
Cohesity is introducing Specialisations as a new partner credential within Aspire, recognising deeper expertise in specific practice areas. Professional Services is the first Specialisation available. Partners that earn the credential will receive support from a dedicated professional services delivery desk, preferred rates on teamed engagements and technical content designed to accelerate deployments.
Additional Specialisations covering technical support delivery and cyber resilience are planned for later in the programme year.
The company is also simplifying enablement by reducing training and certification requirements for selected regions and tiers and introducing guided learning paths that take partners from individual courses through to full certification. The aim is to reduce the time between joining Aspire and being ready to sell, while maintaining the technical enablement required to support customer deployments.
Cohesity has also introduced a new dashboard within its partner portal, providing partners with a single view of training, certifications and billing requirements. This builds on the existing centralised view of Cohesity incentives available through the Manage My Business partner portal.
Andrew Hanna, CEO, ZainTECH, said, “The Cohesity Aspire Partner Programme, has unlocked access to training, certification, and joint go-to-market support as we scale our joint offerings across our customer base. Through this partnership with Cohesity, we are strengthening our ability to deliver enterprise-grade cyber resilience services that combine immutable protection, sovereign-ready operations, and recoverability frameworks designed for regulated and always-on enterprise environments.”
