Salesforce Unveils New Work Interface as UAE Businesses Transition from AI Trials to Real-World Deployment

Salesforce has announced Slack as the System of Engagement for its Agentic Enterprise platform, introducing Slackbot as an employee superagent that brings together Agentforce teams, third-party AI agents, apps, and enterprise data into a single, coordinated digital workforce.

The move directly addresses a growing challenge for organizations. As AI adoption accelerates under We the UAE 2031 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, enterprises are increasingly facing agentic fragmentation which is a scenario that sees multiple AI systems creating complexity instead of impact, driving the need for unified, enterprise-wide orchestration.

While AI adoption across the UAE continues to outpace global benchmarks, many organisations are now focused on bringing together increasingly rich sources of intelligence to unlock greater value and impact. As organisations adopt multiple AI tools, systems, and data sources, the focus is increasingly shifting toward bringing them together to unlock greater productivity and impact. Enterprises are now integrating AI into the flow of work, where decisions are made and outcomes are delivered.

Salesforce’s latest announcement directly addresses this challenge by positioning Slack as the System of Engagement, a platform where people, agents, apps, and data come together, while Agentforce operates as the System of Agency powering AI execution across the enterprise. Through Slackbot, organizations can integrate specialized Agentforce agents and third-party AI agents within a single environment, transforming fragmented intelligence into coordinated, real-time action.

New capabilities include meeting transcription and automated follow-ups, contextual desktop integration, reusable AI skills that standardize workflows, and expanded connectivity across more than 6,000 enterprise applications. These capabilities are designed to embed AI directly into day-to-day operations, reducing friction and enabling faster, more consistent execution.

This shift marks a critical inflection point for UAE enterprises. The focus is no longer on adopting AI, but on operationalizing it at scale. Data readiness and integration remain the primary bottlenecks, with disconnected systems preventing organizations from unlocking the full value of AI investments.

Mohammed Alkhotani, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Salesforce Middle East and Africa, said, “Across the UAE, organizations are moving quickly on AI, but many are still constrained by fragmented data and disconnected systems. The challenge is no longer access to AI, it is turning that intelligence into coordinated action. What we are seeing now is a shift from pilots to enterprise-wide deployment, where AI must be trusted, governed, and embedded into the flow of work. Slack, combined with Agentforce, enables organizations to unify their AI investments and drive real, measurable outcomes.”

The impact of this shift is already being demonstrated globally. Slack serves 33 million monthly active users and facilitates more than 6 billion messages weekly, while organizations report measurable productivity gains, including up to 90 minutes saved per employee per day. Inside Salesforce, teams are saving up to 20 hours per week, generating over $6.4 million in productivity value.

For UAE enterprises, this evolution aligns closely with national priorities to build a competitive, AI-driven digital economy. As organizations operating in sectors such as financial services, real estate, retail, and government move toward enterprise-scale AI deployment, the ability to unify data, ensure trust, and operationalize AI within existing workflows will define long-term advantage.
