Kodak Alaris Unveils New Scanners and Software for Document Digitization

Kodak Alaris has announced the launch of its KODAK S5000 Series production scanners and the latest version of its capture software, KODAK Capture Pro 7.0. These new offerings are designed to enhance business efficiency and accuracy in document digitization, particularly for high-volume industries across the Middle East.

The new scanners are capable of processing up to 210 sheets per minute, catering to the demands of sectors such as banking, insurance, healthcare, and government. Kodak Alaris states that these solutions help organizations digitize operations quickly and accurately to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Naji Kazak, VP EMEIA & APAC at Kodak Alaris, commented, “Across the Middle East, businesses are under intense pressure to digitise operations quickly and accurately to meet rising customer expectations and regulatory demands. By enabling organisations to scan, process and archive vast amounts of information with exceptional speed and precision, the new KODAK S5000 Series and Capture Pro 7.0 help ensure that no critical data is lost and that customer interactions, whether it’s a loan application, a medical record or an insurance claim, are handled seamlessly and securely.”

At the core of the KODAK S5000 Series is a 32-core chipset dedicated to image processing. The scanners incorporate Perfect Page technology for image enhancement and intelligent document protection to prevent damage. The KODAK Capture Pro 7.0 software supports automated metadata capture, data extraction, and integration with various business systems.

The KODAK S5000 Series will be available in three models: the S5160 (160 sheets per minute), S5180 (180 sheets per minute), and the S5210 (210 sheets per minute), with a tri-stream mode for higher image counts. Both the KODAK S5000 Series and KODAK Capture Pro 7.0 software will be available in the Middle East starting August 2025.
