stc Bahrain Launches Summer Workshops to Build Future-Ready Technical and Creative Skills

stc Bahrain has launched its Summer Workshops series, giving citizens and residents an opportunity to develop future-ready skills, explore emerging industries and gain practical experience across technology, business and creative fields.

The initiative forms part of stc Bahrain’s corporate social responsibility and community development efforts. The company said the programme is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application while helping participants develop digital, analytical and professional skills needed in a rapidly changing economy.

The programme continues stc Bahrain’s summer workshop series, which the company has organised over the past several years. The workshops are delivered through a collaborative format involving stc Bahrain employees, local influencers and external industry specialists. Sessions are held twice a week and are free to attend, although participants are encouraged to register in advance as places are limited.

“We believe that empowering our community with forward-looking knowledge is the foundation for enabling a progressive and innovative future for the Kingdom. By bringing together our own talented team members alongside leading influencers and industry specialists, we are creating a unique collaborative platform. We aim to make critical digital expertise, creative skills, and professional mentorship accessible to everyone, helping Bahrainis unlock new capabilities and successfully navigate the digital future,” said Sh. Zeyad Bin Faisal Al Khalifa, Chief Government Affairs Officer at stc Bahrain.

The Summer Workshops began in July and will continue until the end of August. The programme combines technical training with professional development and creative activities. Technical sessions include AI and Data Foundations as well as Cloud and Web Technologies, providing participants with an introduction to technologies shaping the digital economy.

Professional development sessions focus on areas including career readiness, brand design and digital productivity, while creative workshops such as handicrafts provide participants with practical, hands-on activities. Through the programme, stc Bahrain aims to provide accessible learning opportunities while encouraging continuous skills development and greater engagement with emerging technologies and creative disciplines.
