Spire Solutions and E-7 Cyber Join Forces to Boost Data Governance

Spire Solutions has announced a strategic distribution partnership with E‑7 Cyber. Under the agreement, Spire Solutions will bring E-7 Cyber’s flagship BlindSpot platform to its extensive ecosystem of enterprise customers, system integrators, channel partners, and managed security service providers (MSSPs) across the Middle East and Africa, enabling organisations to strengthen data governance, enhance regulatory compliance, and improve cyber resilience in an increasingly data-driven landscape.
This partnership comes at a defining moment for the region’s digital economy. As organisations across the GCC and wider MEA continue to accelerate their digital transformation initiatives, the volume of sensitive and business-critical data residing within collaborative platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Box has expanded significantly. Simultaneously, evolving regulatory requirements, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), Saudi Arabia’s PDPL and SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, Qatar’s PDPPL, and Bahrain’s PDPL, have elevated the importance of data governance, regulatory compliance, insider risk management, and audit readiness to boardroom priorities.
Against this backdrop, E7 Cyber’s BlindSpot platform is uniquely positioned to help organisations strengthen visibility, control, and governance over sensitive data, enabling enterprises to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while enhancing their overall cyber resilience. The solution combines dynamic file watermarking, granular access controls, compliance dashboards, and secure collaboration capabilities to give organisations full visibility and control over how sensitive information is accessed, shared, and used, both inside and outside the corporate perimeter. By focusing on insider threats and the governance of sensitive data, two of the most underserved areas of regional cybersecurity investment, BlindSpot helps organisations in financial services, government, defence, energy, and critical infrastructure mitigate data leakage risk while meeting their regulatory obligations.
“Organisations across the Middle East and Africa are navigating an increasingly complex threat landscape where data has become one of their most critical assets. While external threats remain a concern, insider risk, whether driven by malicious intent, human error, or compromised credentials, has emerged as a significant challenge for security leaders and CISOs. Through our partnership with E‑7 Cyber, we are expanding our value‑added distribution portfolio with advanced data protection and insider risk management capabilities that help organisations strengthen their data security posture, enhance visibility and control over sensitive information, and support compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. We are excited to bring E‑7 Cyber’s innovative technologies to our customers and partner ecosystem across the MEA region, enabling them to better safeguard their most valuable asset: their data,” said Syed Quadri, Chief Operating Officer, Spire Solutions.
“Organizations are increasingly challenged to balance collaboration with security. BlindSpot enables them to share sensitive information with greater confidence by introducing accountability, traceability, and trust into every interaction. We are excited to work with Spire Solutions to bring this capability to organizations across the MEA region,” said Heena Sharma, Chief Operating and Growth Officer, E‑7 Cyber.
By combining E‑7 Cyber’s innovation in insider threat protection and data watermarking with Spire Solutions’ regional scale and deep cybersecurity expertise, the partnership will make it easier for organisations across MEA to operationalise robust data and compliance programmes while preserving business continuity. BlindSpot introduces accountability into every interaction with sensitive information by embedding dynamic, personalised watermarking that enables organisations to identify the source of unauthorised sharing, deter insider threats, and accelerate investigations.
Through this alliance, Spire Solutions and E‑7 Cyber will work closely with channel partners, enterprises, and government entities in the region, with a particular focus on regulated sectors such as financial services, government, defence, energy, and critical infrastructure. Organisations looking to strengthen their insider risk posture, improve audit readiness, and align with evolving data protection requirements can now access E‑7 Cyber’s BlindSpot platform through Spire Solutions and its network of trusted partners across the Middle East and Africa.
