Bahrain-based fintech company BENEFIT has signed a service agreement with AMAN, a local compliance platform, to strengthen its anti-money laundering (AML), due diligence and financial crime risk management capabilities. The agreement was signed by Abdulwahed AlJanahi, Chief Executive of BENEFIT, and Dickon Johnstone, Group Chief Executive Officer of AMAN, at BENEFIT’s headquarters in Bahrain, in the presence of senior representatives from both organisations.
Under the agreement, BENEFIT will use AMAN’s compliance platform, which is powered by Themis, a financial crime management technology provider. The platform brings together onboarding, due diligence, screening and risk assessment processes within a single environment. The companies said the unified approach is intended to improve visibility across compliance cases and assessments while supporting faster and more consistent decision-making. It will also help streamline regulatory and compliance processes and improve the management of financial crime risks.
“The signing of this service agreement with AMAN forms part of our continued efforts to strengthen the tools and systems that support BENEFIT’s commitment to the highest standards of governance and compliance. As financial crime risks continue to evolve, organizations require more sophisticated solutions that can bring information together, analyze it effectively and support timely oversight. This collaboration responds to the growing need for integrated technology capable of managing data, assessments and regulatory processes within a single framework. It will streamline key onboarding and due diligence activities and improve the operational efficiency while preserving the rigor required in regulatory review and risk evaluation,” said Abdulwahed AlJanahi, Chief Executive, BENEFIT.
AMAN said the partnership with BENEFIT is intended to strengthen financial crime prevention capabilities within Bahrain’s financial services ecosystem and support compliance with local and international standards. “We are proud to partner with BENEFIT. AMAN’s mission is to strengthen Bahrain’s financial ecosystem and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a safe, trusted international financial centre. BENEFIT plays a vital role in that ecosystem, making it a natural partner for AMAN. Together, we will enhance financial crime capabilities and support Bahrain’s continued alignment with local and international standards. This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering practical and sustainable solutions that help financial institutions strengthen governance, oversight and organizational readiness. It also supports Bahrain’s position as an advanced financial hub that continues to adopt leading practices in compliance, risk management and financial crime prevention,” said Dickon Johnstone, Group CEO, BENEFIT.
