UiPath Launches Maestro Flow to Orchestrate AI Agents and Enterprise Workflows

UiPath has introduced UiPath Maestro Flow, a developer-focused orchestration capability designed to help enterprises turn AI agent prototypes into governed, production-ready business processes. The new capability addresses a growing challenge for organisations adopting coding agents: while tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Codex can accelerate software and AI agent development, moving those agents into complete enterprise workflows can introduce additional complexity around orchestration, monitoring, governance and maintenance.
Maestro Flow is designed to bridge that gap by allowing developers to use supported coding agents to design, execute, observe and govern an end-to-end business process as a single artefact. The approach is intended to eliminate the need to rebuild or re-platform workflows when moving from development into production.
Builders can work within development environments including VS Code and UiPath Studio while using a code-first workflow on UiPath’s enterprise orchestration engine. The platform brings AI agents, robots, APIs, documents and human workers together within a single process.

UiPath says the new capability is intended to address the gap between rapid AI-native development and the operational requirements of enterprise environments. Without orchestration, business logic can become fragmented across individual agents and applications, making workflows harder to monitor, govern and maintain.
With Maestro Flow, developers retain their existing code-first development processes while gaining capabilities for execution, observability and governance. The same workflow developed during prototyping can subsequently be deployed into production without requiring a separate rebuild.
UiPath is making Maestro Flow available to developers through its website, while also offering UiPath Maestro Lite for processes that require less operational management. The lighter option is aimed at organisations looking to match the level of orchestration and management with the complexity and criticality of individual workflows.
The launch reflects the broader shift towards agentic AI in enterprise environments, where organisations are moving beyond individual AI assistants and experimenting with autonomous agents capable of interacting with applications, systems and people. As these agents become embedded in business processes, orchestration is increasingly becoming a key requirement for controlling how they operate at scale.
