BRKZ Secures $31 Million to Scale AI-Enabled Building Materials Procurement Across Saudi Arabia and the GCC

Technology-enabled building materials procurement platform BRKZ has secured $31 million in new capital to support its next phase of growth, including the development of its AI-powered pricing and fulfilment capabilities and the expansion of embedded financing for contractors and suppliers.
The funding comprises $13 million in Series B equity, co-led by Wa’ed Ventures, the venture capital arm of Aramco, and 500 Global, with participation from BECO Capital and Anb Seed Fund. Existing financing partner Stride Ventures has also committed $18 million in growth debt under BRKZ’s previously announced $30 million venture debt facility.
The investment comes as BRKZ expects revenue to triple in 2026, following 2.5x year-on-year growth in 2025. The company has continued expanding despite geopolitical and supply-chain disruption across the Middle East, highlighting the demand for more digital procurement processes, pricing transparency and reliable fulfilment in the construction materials sector.
BRKZ currently serves more than 1,500 contracting companies and 150 building materials factories, supported by approximately 2,100 local and international suppliers. Since its launch, the company has sold more than $133 million (SAR 500 million) in raw, local and imported building materials and processed more than $1.37 billion (SAR 5.13 billion) in RFQs through its platform.
Building materials represent a significant component of construction project costs, but procurement remains fragmented, with sourcing, price negotiations and logistics often handled through manual processes. BRKZ brings these activities together through a single platform covering local, imported and raw materials, while combining its Saudi supplier network with international sourcing capabilities.
“The past twelve months have reinforced why we built BRKZ,” said Ibrahim Manna, Founder and CEO of BRKZ. “Even amid significant regional and supply-chain disruptions, we achieved record growth because contractors and factories still need reliable access to materials, competitive pricing and dependable fulfillment. Having spent our first years building the supply network, infrastructure and data to digitize procurement at scale, we can now make that infrastructure significantly smarter and, with this funding, extend our reach across Saudi Arabia and the region.”
“Our continued investment in BRKZ reflects our confidence in the company’s ability to make building materials procurement more efficient, connected and data driven. We look forward to supporting the team as they further advance their AI capabilities and scale their impact across Saudi Arabia and the wider region,” said Anas Alghatani, CEO, Wa’ed Ventures.
“Building materials procurement is one of the largest, least digitized categories in the Saudi economy, and BRKZ has methodically built the infrastructure and data needed to solve it at scale,” said Amjad Ahmad, Managing Partner at 500 Global. “Our decision to co-lead this round was driven by the team’s demonstrated execution: BRKZ sustained growth despite significant regional supply-chain disruption because contractors rely on the platform to deliver. This speaks to the strong operational foundation. We look forward to supporting the team as they deepen their AI capabilities, expand embedded financing, and grow across the region.”
Commenting on the investment, Khalid S. Alghamdi, CEO of Anb Capital, said, “Saudi Arabia is building at extraordinary scale, and BRKZ is transforming how one of the Kingdom’s largest industries operates. By combining proprietary data, AI and embedded financing, the company is addressing a real and significant challenge in the construction supply chain. With more than SAR 5 billion of RFQs already processed, BRKZ has demonstrated both execution and scale. At anb capital, we see the potential for BRKZ to become an important technology-enabled infrastructure platform for the Kingdom and, over time, the wider region”
A key part of BRKZ’s technology strategy is its proprietary building materials dataset, which the company has developed over the past three years. The dataset contains approximately 38 million structured data points across more than 13,000 product records and 2,100 supplier profiles.
The data feeds an AI pricing engine trained on approximately 40,000 RFQs, allowing the system to predict buy and sell prices and recommend suppliers for individual orders. BRKZ says 84% to 89% of predictions fall within 5% of the final transacted price. The system reduces the traditionally manual pricing process while retaining final oversight with procurement teams.
The company is also deploying AI agents across its operations. Nusa, BRKZ’s delivery agent, processes bulk-cement deliveries by reading delivery-note photographs sent by transporters through WhatsApp, matching them with orders, verifying quantities and closing completed deliveries. Staff intervene when exceptions require manual handling. According to BRKZ, approximately three-quarters of delivery notes are now processed without manual override.
AI is also being used to support payment-term decisions based on BRKZ’s proprietary payment-behaviour data, although final approval remains with the finance team. The new funding will support three main areas: advancing AI capabilities across quotation, pricing and fulfilment; increasing vertical integration across the supply chain from raw-material sourcing to last-mile delivery; and expanding cross-border sourcing and trading.
BRKZ plans to develop direct supply corridors with China, India and other major manufacturing markets, including for specialty and private-label building materials. The company expects this to improve material availability while providing customers with greater pricing and sourcing flexibility.
Earlier in 2026, BRKZ also received a strategic investment from SIC, the investment arm of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF). The investment reflects SIC’s focus on BRKZ’s role in digitising procurement, strengthening local supply chains and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 industrial objectives.
BRKZ supplies contractors and businesses involved in major Saudi developments including The Red Sea Project, Diriyah, Qiddiya, ROSHN and King Salman Park. With the latest funding, BRKZ has raised more than $70 million in total capital across equity and debt since its inception. The company remains open to additional strategic investors joining its Series B.
