Otech Partners with Kaspersky to Deliver Locally Hosted Cybersecurity Solutions in Oman
Otech, the technology arm of Omantel, has announced a collaboration with Kaspersky to expand locally hosted cybersecurity services in Oman and support the Sultanate’s digital sovereignty objectives. The agreement, announced on the sidelines of GISEC Global 2026 at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, makes Otech an authorised Kaspersky Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) partner in Oman.
The collaboration brings together Kaspersky’s cybersecurity technologies and Otech’s data centre infrastructure, cybersecurity operations expertise and nationwide support network. The solutions covered by the agreement will be hosted in Otech’s data centre in Oman, with management and support services delivered locally. This approach is designed to give organisations in the Sultanate greater control over sensitive security data, help address data sovereignty requirements and support their response to evolving cyberthreats.
Kaspersky XDR portfolio available locally
Otech will offer Kaspersky Next XDR Optimum and Kaspersky Next XDR Expert to organisations in Oman. Both solutions will be hosted and fully supported locally, giving customers access to extended detection and response (XDR) capabilities backed by local specialists and round-the-clock support from within the country.
The companies said the arrangement will allow organisations to access enterprise-grade cybersecurity services without depending on technical support from outside Oman.

The partnership is intended to strengthen access to locally hosted cybersecurity services in Oman by combining Kaspersky’s security technologies with Otech’s domestic infrastructure and operational support.
