Vertiv Showcases Converged AI Infrastructure as Gulf Data Centres Scale Capacity

As demand for artificial intelligence (AI) capacity grows across the Gulf, data centre operators are under increasing pressure to bring high-density infrastructure online faster. Vertiv is addressing this challenge with an integrated approach that combines power, thermal management, IT infrastructure and digital services.
Vertiv Holdings Co. (NYSE: VRT), a provider of critical digital infrastructure, will showcase its converged infrastructure approach at DCD>Connect | MENA 2026, taking place on 26–27 October at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, UAE. The company is participating as a Mega Partner at the event.
“DCD>Connect | MENA is an important platform for engaging with the region’s data center ecosystem as AI adoption accelerates,” said Tassos Peppas, Regional Director, Middle East, Southeast Europe, Turkey and Central Asia at Vertiv. “We see AI as a long-term, secular trend and we are accelerating our capacity expansions to enable growth and meet our customer’s demands. The AI revolution requires infrastructure that works as an integrated system, from grid to chip, enabling customers to deploy high-density capacity and scale with confidence.”
At the event, Vertiv will highlight its Vertiv 360AI portfolio, which brings together pre-engineered power, cooling and service solutions for AI infrastructure. According to the company, the approach can reduce deployment time by up to 50% compared with traditional stick-built installations.
The portfolio draws on Vertiv’s capabilities across power management, thermal systems, IT infrastructure and remote management. By integrating these components into a coordinated system, the approach aims to simplify deployment and provide a foundation that can scale alongside future generations of computing technology.
“Operators across the Gulf are moving from planning to delivery on AI capacity, and speed of deployment is now a deciding factor,” said Phil Cullerton, Senior Vice President, Managing Director – Middle East & EMEA Service at Vertiv. “Our teams in the region work with customers from design through operation, and our converged approach means power, cooling and IT infrastructure are delivered as one tested system rather than separate packages.”
Vertiv will also participate in the DCD>Connect | MENA 2026 conference programme through two speaking sessions. Tassos Peppas will join Kenny Scott, CEO of Edge-Serve, for a fireside chat, while Ivan Kuts, EMEA Solutions Architect at Vertiv, will deliver a 5×5 lightning pitch examining how converged physical infrastructure can improve the speed and efficiency of AI-ready data centre deployment.
