WSO2 Acquires API Analytics and Monetisation Startup Moesif

WSO2 has acquired Moesif, a San Francisco-based startup specializing in API analytics and monetization. This all-cash acquisition supports WSO2’s plan for global growth through targeted acquisitions.
Under the agreement, Moesif will operate as an independent subsidiary within WSO2’s API Management Business Unit. The Moesif brand and its current product offerings will remain, and its leadership and team will continue to manage existing business and expand customer growth. Moesif customers will continue to receive current service and support, while also benefiting from WSO2’s global presence and product offerings. Moesif’s API analytics and monetization features will also be integrated into WSO2’s product portfolio.

The acquisition aims to strengthen WSO2’s position in API management by adding analytics and monetization tools that help businesses optimize and generate revenue from their APIs. Moesif’s offerings will complement WSO2’s API management platform.
