Zoom Expands Agentic AI Platform for Enterprise Workflows

Zoom Communications has unveiled major updates to its enterprise agentic AI platform, introducing workflow orchestration across Zoom Workplace, Zoom Phone, and Zoom CX. The expansion enables organizations to automate tasks, streamline cross-system workflows, and turn conversations into actionable business outcomes.
The enhanced platform addresses a common challenge in enterprise AI: while meetings, chat, and CRM systems capture data, follow-through often remains manual. Zoom’s solution embeds AI-driven workflow automation directly into calls, meetings, chat, and contact-center interactions, allowing conversations to trigger tasks and integrate with third-party systems such as Salesforce, Slack, and ServiceNow.
Key updates include AI Companion 3.0, which now operates across Zoom Workplace, Zoom Business Services, and Workvivo, enabling conversation-to-completion workflows with personalized insights. New AI canvases—Docs, Sheets, and Slides—allow teams to convert meeting discussions into documents, analyses, and presentations in real time. Zoom also launched Zoom AI Services, a suite of APIs for speech, language, reasoning, and image processing.
Zoom Workplace introduces a simplified interface, a dedicated AI Companion workspace, and a new team facilitator, Zoomie, designed to improve alignment and productivity. AI-first chat prioritizes key conversations, generates topic-based summaries, and supports real-time translation in meetings. Enhanced security tools now detect synthetic audio or video to protect against deepfakes.
For Zoom Phone, AI-driven workflows automate post-call summaries and follow-ups, while an upgraded virtual receptionist supports SMS interactions. The mobile experience allows AI-powered business calls from native dialers, complemented by advanced analytics for customer-facing teams.
Zoom CX and Zoom Revenue Accelerator are also expanding agentic automation with tools like AI Expert Assist 3.0, CX Insights, and workflow orchestration, improving contact-center efficiency, customer experience, and sales performance. Paid AI features were included in all of Zoom’s top ten CX deals last quarter, highlighting strong enterprise adoption.
