Nvidia Hints at Arm-Powered AI PC Launch with Microsoft and Arm Ahead of Computex 2026

Nvidia, Microsoft and Arm have jointly hinted at a major PC-related announcement ahead of Computex 2026, fueling speculation that Nvidia is finally preparing to unveil its long-rumored Arm-based laptop processors. The companies shared coordinated social media posts carrying the phrase “A new era of PC” alongside the coordinates of Taipei, where Computex is set to take place.

Industry observers expect Nvidia to introduce its N1 and N1X processors during CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote presentation. The chips are believed to be designed for Windows-on-Arm laptops and could mark Nvidia’s first serious entry into the PC processor market.

The launch would represent a significant shift for Microsoft’s Windows-on-Arm ecosystem, which has largely relied on Qualcomm processors in recent years. Nvidia’s entry could increase competition and give PC makers another option for building AI-focused laptops powered by Arm architecture.

Reports suggest several manufacturers, including Dell and Lenovo, have already been preparing devices based on the N1X platform. Leaks and industry reports over the past few months have repeatedly pointed to upcoming notebook designs featuring Nvidia’s new silicon.

While Nvidia has yet to officially reveal specifications, previous reports indicate the processors could combine Arm-based CPU cores with Nvidia graphics technology, potentially positioning them as strong contenders in the emerging AI PC segment.

The anticipated announcement comes as Microsoft continues to push AI-powered computing experiences across Windows devices. If confirmed, the partnership between Nvidia, Microsoft and Arm could reshape the competitive landscape for next-generation laptops, placing additional pressure on Intel, AMD and Qualcomm as the AI PC market continues to evolve.
