Red Hat Enhances Global Partner Engagement Program

Red Hat has announced updates to its global partner engagement experience, aiming to provide greater simplicity, choice, and flexibility for its partner ecosystem. These enhancements are part of Red Hat’s ongoing transformation efforts in response to shifts in the technology landscape, particularly breakthroughs in AI and virtualization.

Red Hat states that its partner ecosystem is crucial in assisting customers with IT modernization and navigating emerging opportunities. The transformation is supported by three key enablers: a globally unified partner program, streamlined partner incentives, and an enhanced digital experience.

A significant update is the launch of the Red Hat Specialized Partner Program, which was previously piloted as the Partner Practice Accelerator. This program is designed to drive enhanced industry recognition for validated partners and provide clearer pathways for partners to develop and showcase skills in high-demand areas critical to customer success.

Dr. Stefanie Chiras, Senior Vice President, Partner Ecosystem Success, Red Hat, commented, “We’re excited to launch the Red Hat Specialized Partner Program, formerly piloted as Partner Practice Accelerator, to drive enhanced industry recognition for validated partners and provide clearer pathways for partners to develop and showcase skills in high-demand areas that are critical to customer success. The Red Hat Specialized Partner Program offers greater autonomy for partners to benefit from more choice, clearer growth opportunities and stronger collaboration with each other and Red Hat.”

Red Hat is also enhancing its rebate strategy by extending and adding new opportunities, with the goal of increasing partner profitability and driving product growth, particularly for Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat OpenShift. This is supported by a simplification of digital tools, which aims to improve the partner user experience and provide greater autonomy and visibility.

Partners seeking more information on these updates, their current standing, and eligibility requirements can log into the Red Hat Partner Connect portal, contact their Red Hat partner account manager, or reach out to partner support. Details on updated rebates and incentives are available in the Red Hat Content Center. Additionally, partners are encouraged to complete the refreshed Red Hat Partner Engagement Experience Foundations course for an overview of the program’s critical elements.
