Dynabook Europe GmbH Signs Distribution Agreement with PC DealNet for Lower Gulf and Levant Region

Dynabook Europe GmbH has signed an agreement with regional powerhouse PC DealNet, giving authorised distribution rights of its award-winning B2B mobile computing products and services across the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Jordan. The move has been made in line with the company’s strategic plans to move to a two-tier business model in the region, in order to drive market exposure, business growth and improve supply efficiencies.

Initially formed in 1995 in Lebanon as a distribution company of notebooks, cameras, and other consumer IT products, PC DealNet has expanded across the region into the Gulf and Jordan and represents the leading brand names in the IT sector. Their success in the region is bolstered by their focused business model in allocating a dedicated team to build the channel for each brand they represent and their long-standing relationships with suppliers and resellers alike.

“We have a long and successful track record with PC DealNet in the region through our Toshiba business historically, and have been in discussions since the transition to Dynabook to renew our partnership and take Dynabook to the next level in some of our key markets,” said Alexander Malienko, Business Unit Director Middle East & Africa, Dynabook Europe GmbH. “We are grateful to our existing channel partners for their support in establishing Dynabook as a player in the B2B sector in the Middle East since we launched in 2018, and are confident of a win-win outcome for all, now that PC DealNet is on board with their strong performance and impressive presence in the region” he added.

Commenting on the signing, Bassam Obeid, CEO PC DealNet and Vice President ITG Holding said “we are delighted to be representing Dynabook, and are looking forward to bringing their state-of-the-art business laptops and mobile computing solutions to our network of channel partners, and support the existing network to grow their business further. Dynabook is a dynamic brand with an exceptional heritage through Toshiba, offering stand-out quality and some innovative solutions at a time when the mobile workforce is growing exponentially. More than ever before, selecting the right notebook is a top priority for all, whether you are a student, hospital, or a major manufacturer, and so the time is ripe to join forces and bring these exciting models to the right people at the right time.”

Following some senior-level appointments to the regional business operation, the agreement with PC DealNet is a further significant step by Dynabook towards achieving their ambitious growth plans and to become more firmly established as a key player in the B2B mobile computing sector in the Middle East & Africa region.
