Nikhil Nair, the Consumer Business Lead at HTC Vive, speaks about his company’s participation at GITEX Global 2022
Are you participating in GITEX Global 2022? If yes, which products and solutions will you be showcasing at the event?
HTC VIVE has attended GITEX for several years, it’s one of the best events to demonstrate the latest in VR innovation. This year is no different we’re excited to be partnering with several leading companies in the Middle East for both B2B and B2C content.
What are your expectations from the event this year?
GITEX has a strong track record of attracting the best new technology, and we’re looking forward to seeing big crowds again. We’re confident that with our partners we’ll again be showing cutting-edge experiences which redefine what immersion is and feels like.
What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
This year we’re very focused on immersive experiences, and showing how hardware and software can work together to create incredible virtual displays. You’ll be able to see HTC VIVE across different partner stands, including Etisalat, DIC, and Mindware.
Do you plan to run any online engagements such as webinars and offline engagements such as tech talks, demos, keynotes, and so on, alongside GITEX?
In addition to our presence on the Etisalat, DIC, and Mindware stand, we have scheduled presentations happening at the Mindware stand and speaking sessions at the Xverse arena and Marketing Mania.
How have your regional strategies changed in recent months?
We’ve really enjoyed getting back to seeing people at physical events and the enthusiasm across the region has always been full of optimism and passion. The best moment for us is when people get to try VR because it’s one thing to hear about it, but it’s always best when it’s experienced.
