Lynred Launches LTB for Infrared Sensor Integration

Lynred, a global leader in advanced infrared technologies for aerospace, defense, and commercial applications, has launched its innovative Lynred ToolBox (LTB) software solution. This comprehensive platform is specifically designed to optimize the evaluation and integration process of Lynred’s infrared modules and sensors, including its latest ATI EOLE and ATI GALATEA products.

“In today’s rapidly evolving context, the need for shorter development cycles and accelerated time-to-market is crucial. Lynred takes a more holistic approach by complementing its hardware offer with this new software toolbox to enable faster and easier integration of IR modules and sensors in customers’ devices,” said Hervé Bouaziz, executive president at Lynred. “LTB’s user-friendly tools simplify their work, irrespective of their level of expertise, optimizing every phase — evaluation, development, testing and validation. LTB is a major stride forward in making IR technologies more accessible. Its efficiency will give our customers a greater competitive edge.”

The LTB software provides system integrators with a complete suite of tools for efficient image management, enabling real-time visualization, performance assessment, and advanced image processing. The solution features an intuitive graphical interface that simplifies setup while offering powerful capabilities such as noise reduction, shutterless operation, non-uniformity correction, and tone mapping to deliver superior image quality.

“This first software solution by Lynred is aimed at using our expertise for the direct benefit of our customers. It also demonstrates our ability to innovate in a demanding technological environment,” added Benoit Louvat, module R&D manager at Lynred.

Engineers will benefit from LTB’s ability to significantly reduce development timelines, potentially cutting integration efforts in half for various applications including surveillance systems and environmental monitoring. The platform supports the full range of Lynred’s cooled and uncooled infrared devices and maintains compatibility with both Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring flexibility across different technical environments.

This launch represents Lynred’s first dedicated software offering, marking a strategic expansion of the company’s product portfolio to provide end-to-end solutions for infrared technology implementation. The LTB toolbox not only enhances operational efficiency but also reinforces Lynred’s position as an innovator in thermal imaging solutions.
