Log-hub Connects Supply Chain Applications with Claude and ChatGPT
Log-hub has released an update to its Supply Chain Apps platform that brings supply chain analysis directly into Claude and ChatGPT, while adding a new 3D Container Loading application and improving freight, network and optimisation capabilities.
Supply Chain Apps can now be connected directly to Claude and ChatGPT using a Supply Chain Apps API key. Users only need a free account on either AI platform to get started. The integration allows supply chain teams to combine internal and external data with Log-hub’s analytical capabilities within the AI environment they already use. Users can validate previous analyses, compare different scenarios, and generate dashboards, maps and presentation-ready outputs.
Results can also be saved to a Log-hub workspace, allowing teams to continue their analysis and collaborate with colleagues. Alexander Sigmund, CTO of Log-hub, said the goal is to move beyond simply using AI to generate faster answers and instead give AI access to analytical capabilities that can support supply chain decisions.
The new 3D Container Loading App expands container planning from two-dimensional packing to a three-dimensional loading environment designed to better reflect real-world shipment conditions. The application takes into account package dimensions and quantities as well as factors including product orientation, stacking, weight limits, container capacity and product compatibility.
It automatically evaluates different loading configurations to determine how goods can be distributed across available containers while meeting operational requirements. These include weight restrictions, stackability, rotation rules and separation requirements.
By improving container utilisation and potentially reducing the number of containers required, the application can help logistics and warehouse teams develop practical loading plans with less manual intervention. It produces an optimised loading plan and shipment manifest that can be used to support execution.
The latest release also introduces changes across freight planning, network design, optimisation and platform administration. Freight Matrix Plus can now automatically assign freight zones while accounting for shipment-specific surcharges and discounts. This allows users to build freight cost analyses that more closely reflect actual carrier agreements.
The Admin Center has also been updated to simplify application access management for larger organisations. Network Design dashboards have been redesigned to make scenarios and key performance indicators easier to analyse.
Shipment Flow Optimizer and Supply Chain Designer now include warehouse processing times and facility constraints, giving users more options for modelling networks based on real operational conditions. The release also brings performance improvements powered by the Hexaly solver. The changes are designed to speed up calculations, improve optimisation results and support larger datasets.
With the latest additions, Log-hub is bringing AI access, three-dimensional container planning and more detailed operational modelling into its supply chain platform. The updates are aimed at reducing manual planning work while helping teams build supply chain scenarios that are closer to real-world operating conditions.
