HPE Expands ‘Saudi Made’ Portfolio with Next-Generation ProLiant Servers
HPE has announced the expansion of its ‘Saudi Made’ server portfolio with the HPE ProLiant Compute DL360 and DL380 Gen12. Produced at the alfanar facility in Riyadh and powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors, the new servers are designed to support Saudi Arabia’s efforts to expand local technology production, strengthen digital sovereignty and diversify its economy.

HPE and Intel’s continued investment in local production is intended to support Saudi Vision 2030 while enabling organisations to deploy modern infrastructure closer to their data sources. This is particularly relevant as demand for digital sovereignty grows, with organisations seeking greater control over where data is processed and stored, while meeting data residency and compliance requirements.
The new ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers build on HPE’s ‘Saudi Made’ initiative with enhanced security, simplified management and AI-driven insights. HPE says the systems can deliver up to 41% better performance per watt compared with legacy enterprise systems and up to 65% annual power savings. These improvements are designed to help organisations manage increasingly data-intensive workloads while addressing growing energy requirements.

The servers combine HPE’s security and infrastructure management capabilities with local production to address the requirements of hybrid IT environments. Together, HPE ProLiant Compute Gen12 and Intel Xeon 6 processors are designed to support workloads spanning hybrid cloud, data analytics, virtualisation and AI-enabled applications.
Featuring the ‘Saudi Tech’ logo, the new servers are available across Saudi Arabia and selected regional markets, including Jordan, Egypt and GCC countries. As digital sovereignty becomes an increasingly important consideration for governments and enterprises, the locally produced ProLiant Compute Gen12 systems are positioned as infrastructure for organisations seeking secure, resilient and locally governed IT environments.
