AmiViz and Veeam Announce Strategic Partnership at LEAP 2026

AmiViz has announced a strategic distribution partnership with Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh. The partnership will help organisations across the region strengthen cyber resilience, establish trusted data foundations for AI and accelerate secure digital transformation. Through the collaboration, AmiViz and Veeam will enable organisations to enhance visibility, governance, data protection and recovery across their IT environments, helping them build resilient and AI-ready enterprises.
The partnership builds on AmiViz’s recently launched business strategy, which is structured around four core practices: Cybersecurity, Data & Resilience, Sovereign Cloud & AI, and Digital Infrastructure. Veeam’s data protection, backup, recovery and ransomware resilience technologies will strengthen AmiViz’s Data & Resilience and Cybersecurity practices, expanding its ability to address the protection and continuity requirements of mission-critical enterprise workloads.
As part of the Data & Resilience Practice, AmiViz will leverage Veeam’s capabilities to help organisations protect, govern and recover data across hybrid, cloud and sovereign environments. With enterprises rapidly expanding their use of AI, trusted and recoverable data has become increasingly important to successful AI deployment. Resilient data foundations enable organisations to scale AI initiatives while maintaining business continuity and meeting regulatory requirements.
Veeam’s Cybersecurity Practice further strengthens the offering with capabilities including ransomware detection, immutable storage, secure backup and rapid recovery. Combined with greater visibility and governance across the data estate, these technologies can help organisations reduce cyber risk while establishing the level of data trust required for AI-driven operations.
Ramkumar Balakrishnan, CEO of AmiViz, said, “Veeam’s leadership in data protection and ransomware recovery aligns strongly with our Data & Resilience and Cybersecurity Practices. As organisations across the region accelerate their digital transformation journeys, the need for secure, resilient and intelligence-ready infrastructure is becoming increasingly critical. Our partnership with Veeam strengthens the technologies and expertise we can bring to customers while supporting the Kingdom’s vision for secure and sovereign digital advancement.”
The partnership is also supported by Veeam’s strong standing in the global data protection market. Veeam Software was recently named a Champion, the highest category awarded, in the latest Omdia Global Managed Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) Leadership Matrix, which assesses vendors contributing to backup and disaster recovery success across the managed service provider ecosystem.
Charbel Zreiby, Channel Director for EMEA East at Veeam, said, “Organisations across Saudi Arabia and the wider region are accelerating AI adoption, but AI is only as trustworthy as the data behind it. As enterprises move from experimentation to operationalising AI at scale, they need confidence that their data is secure, resilient, governed and recoverable. That trust starts with data resilience. AmiViz combines deep consultative expertise, strong enterprise relationships and technical capabilities, making it ideally positioned to help customers establish the trusted data foundations they need to innovate with confidence and accelerate AI safely.”
Through the partnership, AmiViz and Veeam aim to help organisations move beyond traditional data protection towards a broader approach centred on data trust, governance and resilience. The collaboration will support enterprises as they scale AI securely while strengthening the foundations for long-term digital transformation.
