Bahrain FinTech Bay Partners with Shaffra to Introduce Enterprise AI Employees in Bahrain

Bahrain FinTech Bay, through its sister company Innovate for Bahrain (I4BH), has signed an exclusive partnership with Shaffra to introduce enterprise AI workforce solutions to organisations across Bahrain. Announced at Gateway Gulf 2026, the investment forum hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the agreement will position I4BH as Shaffra’s partner in Bahrain, providing local organisations with access to its enterprise AI Workforce Platform.
The collaboration combines Shaffra’s AI technology and regional deployment experience with Innovate for Bahrain’s local market expertise, business relationships and implementation capabilities. The two companies will also explore opportunities to develop additional solutions on Shaffra’s platform for priority industries, with potential collaboration beyond Bahrain.
Shaffra’s AI employees are designed to perform specific business functions across customer service, sales, human resources, finance, operations and project management. Ready-made solutions include AI call centres, AI sales centres and AI project managers, which can be integrated into existing business operations. According to Bahrain FinTech Bay, Shaffra’s AI employees helped enterprises and government organisations save more than two million working hours per month in 2025.
The platform incorporates Shaffra’s Subconscious AI technology, which enables AI employees to retain relevant organisational information and learn from internal policies and systems. The solutions support both Arabic and English, allowing organisations to deploy AI employees within their existing operational environments.
Organisations can deploy the technology on their own infrastructure, retaining control over their data. A governance layer provides controls for roles, access permissions and audit requirements. Bader Sater, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain FinTech Bay, said the partnership would make enterprise AI capabilities more accessible to Bahraini organisations through local implementation support. He noted that Innovate for Bahrain would help organisations across sectors, from financial institutions and government entities to growing businesses, adopt the technology with local teams supporting deployment.
Alharith Alatawi, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shaffra, said the collaboration would extend the company’s AI workforce capabilities to more enterprises and government institutions in Bahrain. He highlighted the potential of autonomous AI teams to improve business operations, generate efficiencies and allow employees to focus on higher-value activities.
The partnership will target several sectors of Bahrain’s economy, including financial services, government, telecommunications, healthcare, education, hospitality, retail and logistics. The initiative also supports Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, which seeks to strengthen economic competitiveness, advance digital innovation and develop a knowledge-based economy.
Through the agreement, Innovate for Bahrain and Shaffra aim to expand the adoption of enterprise AI solutions in the Kingdom, combining regional technology capabilities with local implementation and support.
