Dynatrace has finalized its acquisition of Arize, an AI observability and evaluation platform focused on continual learning for autonomous agents.
The integration unites Arize’s AI evaluation toolsets with Dynatrace’s end-to-end observability platform, bridging the gap between pre-launch testing and live production monitoring. By pairing these capabilities, engineering and AI teams gain full lifecycle visibility into model and agent behavior—allowing them to detect errors earlier, accelerate troubleshooting, and optimize performance, cost, and reliability across modern AI environments.
Industry analysts note that combining AI evaluation with production observability is crucial as enterprises deploy autonomous agents at scale, closing the feedback loop between building AI workloads and operating them reliably.
Following the acquisition, Arize will maintain support for both its open-source platform, Phoenix, and its enterprise offering, AX. Dynatrace plans to progressively embed Arize’s core technologies directly into its platform, providing customers with a unified AI observability and governance experience across the entire development lifecycle.
