CEER Signs SAR 22.5m Salam Deal to Build Connectivity for Saudi EV Operations
Saudi EV maker CEER has signed a five-year framework agreement worth SAR 22.5 million (approximately US$6 million) with Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam) to strengthen the connectivity infrastructure supporting its operations.
Announced at LEAP 2026, the agreement will see Salam provide Internet and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) fibre services across CEER’s design, development, manufacturing and distribution activities. The high-capacity connectivity is intended to provide the resilience and bandwidth required as the Saudi automotive company scales its operations.
The partnership also marks a key enterprise win for Salam as it advances its B2B 2.0 strategy, which brings together connectivity, AI, 5G, cybersecurity, cloud and managed services for large organisations.

For CEER, the agreement supports the technology infrastructure behind its plans to develop Saudi Arabia’s first homegrown EV brand. The company is positioned as part of the Kingdom’s wider industrial diversification drive under Saudi Vision 2030, with telecommunications infrastructure playing an increasingly important role in connected manufacturing and supply chains.
