Qlik has expanded the availability of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to the AWS Marketplace and Databricks Marketplace, making it easier for organisations to connect AI assistants and agents with Qlik’s governed data, analytics context and data transformation capabilities.
The move gives customers a way to bring trusted business intelligence into the AI environments they already use, helping agents work with governed data, business metrics, lineage and existing analytical logic rather than relying solely on raw data.
The expanded availability follows the general availability of Qlik’s agentic analytics experience and MCP server earlier this year. As organisations move AI projects from experimentation towards production, many continue to face challenges around fragmented data, incomplete business context and duplicated analytics logic.
Qlik MCP is designed to address these challenges by providing governed access to data exploration, lineage, calculations, analytics and selected data workflows through an open standard. This allows organisations to extend existing Qlik intelligence into different AI environments without having to recreate business logic for every new assistant or agent.
With Qlik MCP now available through AWS Marketplace and Databricks Marketplace, customers can access the technology within two major cloud and data ecosystems used for building and deploying AI applications. Databricks customers can also use their Universal Commit entitlements to purchase Qlik solutions directly through the Databricks Marketplace.

Qlik MCP on AWS Marketplace: Qlik MCP is now available through AWS Marketplace, extending Qlik’s governed intelligence into AWS AI environments, including Amazon Bedrock. Qlik MCP on Databricks Marketplace: The MCP server is available through Databricks Marketplace, enabling governed access to Qlik Cloud data retrieval, exploration, lineage and analytics workflows within Databricks agent experiences.
Enterprise use cases: Qlik identifies three key use cases emerging around MCP: accelerating data pipeline development, using Qlik as a trusted data source within broader agent workflows, and allowing users to query Qlik directly through natural-language assistants for everyday business analysis.
The expansion is part of Qlik’s broader 2026 strategy to help organisations prepare their data for AI through trusted data products, a context-rich analytics engine and an open agentic experience that can integrate with existing technology environments and architectures.
