Huawei Launches Wi-Fi 6 and AI-Driven Products
Huawei has showcased its portfolio of AI-driven products and solutions at the Gartner Symposium in Dubai. The solution provider’s digital platform combines pervasive connectivity, AI, cloud, storage, IoT and other emerging technologies to simplify digital transformation, ultimately helping organizations and governments meet the needs of citizens and customers.
The three-day Gartner Symposium event, held at the Mina A’Salam Hotel, brought together industry leaders from across vertical sectors to explore the trends and technologies driving digital transformation and shaping the future of IT and business. One week after the global launch of its star products at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Huawei used the event as a platform to introduce its latest AI based products to the region. The company also demonstrated successful use cases for government and enterprise customers to draw lessons from – helping them capitalize on the Middle East’s flourishing smart-tech revolution.
Huawei’s Wi-Fi 6 powers enterprises forward by dramatically boosting capacity and slashing delay. Wi-Fi 6 offers four times the system capacity of Wi-Fi 5, four times the concurrent access, and 60% lower transmission latency. This solution enables ultra-high bandwidth 4K ultra-HD video conferencing anytime, anywhere, as well as high-speed support for manufacturing, fast, seamless roaming, and ultra-low 10-millisecond latency for quick VR response.
“The Wi-Fi network has become an important part of enterprise digital transformation. However, the current enterprise wireless networks are faced with the challenges of poor user experience, complex O&M, and low security. By launching Wi-Fi 6 in the region, Huawei hopes to support more enterprises in deploying Wi-Fi 6 to build high-quality wireless networks with enhanced performance, capacity & coverage so that they can introduce more digital and intelligent services,” commented Faisal Malik, CTO, Huawei Enterprise Business Group, Middle East.
Fahem Al Nuaimi, CEO of Ankabut, who joined Huawei at the event, also said, “We are proud to stand with Huawei to launch the innovative Wi-Fi 6 solution – Huawei has demonstrated again and again that they are one of the most innovative and creative players in the ICT industry, and we have no doubt that these new solutions will make a significant contribution to accelerating the region’s digital transformation. We are particularly excited to see the impact Huawei’s products will have on the education industry, our core area of business and a sector which promises to benefit significantly from the implementation of new ICT.”
During the Gartner Symposium, Huawei Enterprise also launched new products from the IT portfolio for the Middle East enterprise market, including:
