GITEX Global 2022: Freshworks to Showcase How Democratisation of IT Can Unlock the Power of Innovation

Manish Mishra, the Head for the Middle East and Africa at Freshworks, says the Middle East region is currently the proving ground for technology and digital adoption

Are you participating in GITEX Global 2022? If yes, which products and solutions will you be showcasing at the event?
Yes, Freshworks will once again participate at GITEX Global where we will demonstrate our full suite of customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) products. Among the key solutions that we will showcase are:

  1. Freshdesk: This omnichannel support solution offers the fastest time-to-value, enabling more meaningful conversations and the ability to turn service agents into customer champions.
  2. Freshchat: This solution helps businesses offer anytime, personalised conversational messaging powered by AI bots and human assistance across convenient and familiar chat channels.
  3. Freshservice: This is a cloud-based IT Help Desk and service management solution that enables organisations to simplify their IT operations. The solution offers features that include a ticketing system, a self-service portal, and knowledge base.

What are your expectations from the event this year?
The Middle East region is currently the proving ground for technology and digital adoption. For organisations to embrace innovation at pace and scale, they need solutions that make it fast and easy for them to delight their customers and employees. Unlike legacy SaaS software, Freshworks builds such tech that works for everyone, making it easy for IT, customer service, sales, marketers, and HR to do their job and delight their customers.

More than 58,000 companies use Freshworks’ SaaS to enable a better customer experience (CX, CRM) and employee experience (ITSM, HRMS). We believe that businesses of all sizes will be highly interested in understanding how Freshworks’ products can better delight their customers and employees.

What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
Through our participation, we intend to demonstrate how the democratisation of IT can unlock the power of innovation. Freshworks was born of its founder’s desire to build software that people love to use as he couldn’t understand why technology had to be so complicated and expensive — and why users disliked using the software so much.

The mission was, and remains, to massively simplify business software, designing first and foremost for the front-line user, then for the team, and then for the managers. This is a message that has resonated strongly with businesses of all sizes and we have no doubt this will be the case with attendees at GITEX Global as well.

Do you plan to run any online engagements such as webinars and offline engagements such as tech talks, demos, keynotes,  and so on, alongside GITEX?
Karthik Akula, the regional sales manager, will deliver a presentation at the Rising Stage of North Star – taking place on the sidelines of GITEX Global – wherein he will cover tips and tricks on how to crack all things B2B Sales, Enterprise Sales, and Account Management. And more importantly, how businesses can manage & scale growth sustainably. We also have Soumitra Deshpande who heads out our Startup Program doing another keynote at North Star about how the Freshworks Startup Program can help budding start-ups get on the digital bandwagon.

How have your regional strategies changed in recent months?
We continue to see traction in the broader MEA region from businesses of all sizes. Some of our largest customers globally, such as Multichoice, are from the region. We are also seeing the new-age digital natives like BitOasis adopt Freshworks technology.

Any other info you would like to add?
We are at Hall 5 / Stand H5-A10 at GITEX Global. Come over and say hello! We would love to answer all your questions.
