Sophos Appoints Naveed Malik to Expand EMEA MSP Partner Ecosystem

Sophos has appointed Naveed Malik as Senior Director, EMEA MSP Channel Sales, where he will be responsible for leading the company’s managed service provider (MSP) partner strategy across the region. In his new role, Malik will focus on expanding Sophos’ MSP ecosystem, supporting partner growth and helping scale recurring revenue opportunities through managed cybersecurity services.
“I build and scale partner ecosystems that deliver predictable, recurring growth through managed services.” This philosophy has defined Malik’s career for more than 15 years, where he has led channel, MSP/MSSP, distribution and cloud go-to-market strategies across EMEA and global markets for high-growth SaaS and cybersecurity companies.
At Sophos, Malik will work with partners to enhance the delivery of managed security services and support organisations adopting AI-powered cybersecurity solutions through service providers. His focus areas will include improving partner profitability, reducing time-to-value and expanding market coverage through a service-led approach.
“My focus is clear: build partner engines that convert cybersecurity innovation into monthly recurring revenue at scale,” said Malik. “Sophos has a strong EMEA MSP partner ecosystem. I look forward to working with our partners to expand managed services adoption, deepen customer trust, and unlock new growth opportunities.”
Malik joins Sophos with experience in developing partner programmes and supporting MSP ecosystems across cybersecurity and cloud markets. His appointment aligns with Sophos’ global MSP strategy as organisations increasingly rely on managed service providers for cybersecurity expertise, including AI-enabled threat detection and response capabilities.
As part of his role, Malik will support partners in areas including:
- Developing MSP enablement and profitability programmes
- Building scalable MSP partner initiatives
- Expanding AI-powered managed services, including Sophos Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Advisory Services
- Supporting adoption of Sophos’ cybersecurity platform across endpoint, network, email and cloud environments, including extended detection and response (XDR) capabilities
- Expanding Sophos CISO Advantage services delivered through MSP partners
- Supporting distributor-led models for emerging MSPs
Malik’s appointment forms part of Sophos’ continued focus on a partner-led MSP model, helping service providers build cybersecurity offerings while supporting customers with managed security solutions.
