
Alienware is expanding its gaming monitor portfolio with two new OLED displays aimed at very different segments of the gaming market — from players seeking high-resolution visuals for PC and console gaming to competitive esports gamers demanding the fastest possible performance.
The company has introduced the Alienware 32 4K OLED Gaming Monitor (AW3226Q), featuring RGB Stripe Tandem OLED technology, while also previewing the Alienware 25 560Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor (AW2527HX), which is scheduled to arrive in early 2027.
The new portfolio reflects the growing segmentation of the gaming display market, where gamers are increasingly choosing monitors based on specific requirements such as image quality, refresh rate, connectivity, console compatibility and competitive performance.
The Alienware 32 4K OLED Gaming Monitor brings RGB Stripe Tandem OLED technology to a flat 32-inch 4K display with a 3840 x 2160 resolution. The monitor is designed for gamers who want a combination of high image quality and versatility across PC and console gaming. Its RGB Stripe Tandem OLED architecture is designed to deliver deep blacks and fast response times while improving brightness, colour purity and text clarity.
The four-stack tandem emissive layer enables higher brightness, while RGB stripe subpixels are designed to maintain colour volume and saturation. Alienware has also incorporated a polariser layer to retain deep black levels in brighter environments.

The AW3226Q reaches up to 1,000 nits of peak HDR brightness, offers an infinite contrast ratio and carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and Dolby Vision certifications. The display is factory calibrated to Delta E<2 colour accuracy and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour space.
For gaming, the monitor supports a 165Hz native refresh rate and a 0.03ms grey-to-grey minimum response time. NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA AdaptiveSync support are designed to minimise tearing and provide smoother gameplay.
Two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports also enable the display to support 4K resolution at full refresh rates with compatible consoles. Alienware has equipped the AW3226Q with an anti-burn-in algorithm that monitors the panel and works to mitigate image retention over time.
The monitor is also backed by a three-year warranty that includes OLED burn-in coverage, giving users additional protection when investing in the premium display technology. The AW3226Q features Alienware’s AW30 design language, a Nova Black finish, narrow bezels and a flat 16:9 panel. Its stand provides height, tilt and swivel adjustment, making it suitable for conventional gaming desks as well as multi-monitor configurations.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, the upcoming Alienware 25 560Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor (AW2527HX) is aimed squarely at competitive FPS and esports players. Developed in collaboration with professional esports organisation Team Liquid, the monitor combines a 560Hz refresh rate with a 24.5-inch QD-OLED panel and a 0.03ms grey-to-grey minimum response time.
Alienware describes the AW2527HX as a generational step beyond the TN panels that have traditionally dominated competitive esports monitors. DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR13.5 provides high-bandwidth connectivity without Display Stream Compression, while the monitor’s OLED architecture delivers true blacks and high contrast alongside its speed.
The display carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification and reaches up to 1,500 nits peak brightness. A matte anti-glare, low-reflectance coating is designed to maintain visibility under bright tournament lighting.
Alienware has incorporated several features based on feedback from Team Liquid players, including a telescopic stand, height and rotation markers for consistent positioning, and a compact base designed to accommodate different keyboard configurations.

A dedicated esports button provides instant switching between 4:3 and 3:2 aspect ratios, while a rear-flip headset hanger helps keep gaming peripherals organised.
The AW2527HX also uses a graphite sheet to distribute panel heat and an AI-powered algorithm designed to mitigate burn-in at the pixel level. Like the AW3226Q, it comes with a three-year warranty that includes OLED burn-in coverage.
Together, the two displays demonstrate Alienware’s approach to the increasingly diverse gaming monitor market: one prioritising high-resolution, cinematic visuals and cross-platform versatility, and the other focusing almost entirely on speed, responsiveness and competitive advantage.
